The ending.. wow

I wasn’t completely hooked the entire time. It was interesting, but not “wow this is amazing”. I fully intended on a 3 star review. Then the ending came and wow. Completely unexpected for me and really cemented how great of a book it was. If you’re not sure about it- go ahead and give it a read/listen. It’s worth it!

This was definitely a bit graphic to listen too. There were several parts where I was cringing, but I couldn't stop listening. I needed to know what happened. The narrator did an amazing job with all the different voices. If you are squeamish, I would pass on listening to this book (or you can try and fast forward through the parts), but otherwise this is my new number 1 recommended book! Can't wait to listen to the next one.

I was a bit skeptical going into this one. The description sounded odd, but the reviews were excellent so I took a chance. I am so glad I did. I could not stop listening. Literally had to force myself to not listen at times just so I wouldn't finish too quickly.
My only (minor) complaint was the narrator- I've enjoyed her narration in other books, but it was difficult to differentiate what character she was speaking as at times.
Overall, this was a great book. Kept me guessing, I was never really sure what was going to happen. I highly recommend!

What made the experience of listening to Behind Her Eyes the most enjoyable?
I think just the fact that it kept me on edge so much. I NEEDED to know what happened next. Even during times I took a break from it, I kept thinking where is this going. How is? Why? I don't understand! So, overall, it wasn't one thing that made the book amazing, it was just a combination of everything!
Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?
The twists and turns in this book were insane. I tried guessing so many times and I did not see the ending coming in any way! Oh MY GOSH, I'm still in shock how this all played out. Truly great.
What about the narrators’s performance did you like?
The narrators were great, no problem at all.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes! I had to force myself to only listen to trips back home (3.5 hour drive) on the weekends. But eventually caved and finished the last 1.5 hours at work.
Any additional comments?
This book was amazing, so messed up, but so fantastic.

so predictable but still had to finish
Reviewed: 04-05-17
this book had me right from the start, but the main character just got so obnoxious in the middle (which I realize was part of the point). But, many of the "major" plot twists felt so predictable, yet I still felt the need to finish out the book (maybe it is because I'm driving across country and there wasn't much else to do).
I also thought the book was a bit YA in certain areas
Basically I wouldn't recommend or listen again, but because I did finish it, I kept the overall at 3 stars. so again, it wasn't horrible, but I would definitely pass.

What did you love best about Who Do You Love?
The narrators were amazing. The story was so great to follow, I got sucked in so quickly and just wanted to keep listening.
What other book might you compare Who Do You Love to and why?
Not sure this deserves a comparison, I feel a lot of romance novels are extremely over the top or over dramatic/ unrealistic and I didn't feel that way with this book at all.
Which character – as performed by Sarah Steele and JD Jackson – was your favorite?
Definitely Sarah, as a female her character was really relatable (minus the wealthy jewish part) and her voice is just SO easy to listen to. I would honestly listen to any book she narrated.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Hmmm. There were a lot of really touching moments in this book, I definitely teared up several times and would talk to the character as if she could hear me (not crazy at all lol).
Any additional comments?
This book was fantastic, my mom thoroughly enjoyed it as well. Read it, you will not be disappointed!

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
Yes, it was worth listening to this, as it sucked up a solid 13 hours of time and distractions, but overall I wasn't a huge fan.
Would you recommend What Alice Forgot to your friends? Why or why not?
It is worth a listen, with the caveat that the ending is weird and I didn't feel like I got the closure I wanted.
Have you listened to any of Tamara Lovatt-Smith’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I have not.
If this book were a movie would you go see it?
I will see as a movie- I may even enjoy better.
Any additional comments?
Overall, nothing to brag about. I don't know what I missed on this book since so many people enjoyed it, but for me, it was just okay. Around the middle I got extremely into it, but then it faded away again. I would listen for the pure sake that it will be a movie and its a good way to kill time, but don't expect it to be your next favorite book.
