This based on a true story book held my interest as a book lover and as a former victim of domestic abuse. This author and narrator make a great team.

I got to know the characters. This evoked some strong emotions. The ending wrapped everything up. I’m already looking for other books by these authors. Kevin Pierce is my favorite narrator. Again.

I have mined the Internet for all the information I could find on gaslighting and narcissist abuse for the last 5 years. I think this author did, too. The only thing I did appreciate is that by using the same tired references to Donald Trump’s Gaslighting Of America as is so common in so many publications these days, this author may yet discover that Trump is just the tip of that iceberg. I would have given an extra star if she’d at least tried to be original about that. I’m glad this is such a short listen because I wasted my time listening to the same old thing. I already wish I had used my credit more wisely.

Isadore’s Secret was a great listen. I will definitely check out more titles by Mardi Link. The narrator added to the experience.

This book evoked very strong feelings in me. It makes me think in some instances it’s justice for NONE! Michigan Prosecutor Norman Hayes is a classic case of evil triumphing over right, may he rot in Hell. I hope his roommate is Debbie Palmentier. Thank God for good men like Ray MacNeil. This book is gripping!

I was hooked early on and stayed that way. Excellent book, with everything tied up cleverly at the end. Very satisfying.

This book is easy to understand and explains things you may be unclear about, or even feel guilty about. I got a lot of useful info from this book, and it helped me to be able to get more from my therapy sessions.

This is the kind of Stephen King book that makes me keep reading Stephen King books. It satisfied everything I’ve come to appreciate and expect from him. If he writes it, I will read it. This one did not disappoint.

As usual, Margaret Atwood held my interest to the point my heart almost aches when the book ends. The characters have depth and we get to know them, really know them.

Margot Dionne's voice just makes the experience that much more real to the listener.
