About this listen

Forgetting how conversations "actually” went down? Doubting your perception of reality? Feeling like you’re going crazy? Read on...

It’s not unheard of, yet not your doing.

Does anyone in your life constantly blame you every time something goes wrong or even try to publicly humiliate you? Does he or she tell you you’re crazy or sensitive, or try to belittle you?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you may be a victim of gaslighting, a form of manipulation causing the targeted person to doubt their sanity and perception of reality.

Psychological abuse is not something to ignore or take lightly as it can be detrimental to your well-being, and according to Health Line, can lead to:

  • Difficulty in concentrating
  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Insomnia
  • Chronic pain
  • Social isolation
  • Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)

If someone in your life is causing you to question your own sanity and is driving you into the ground, don’t worry, you are not crazy, nor are you alone in the matter. Most importantly, it is not your fault!

Did you know that according to National Intimate Partner and Sexual Violence survey, 48.4 percent of women and 48.8 percent of men have experienced at least one psychologically aggressive behavior by an intimate partner. That’s nearly every other person!

Psychological abuse, however, isn’t only seen between partners but can also be evident in other aspects of your life, such as at work or within your family. No matter the case, it can take a great toll on your overall well-being.

Everyone deserves a life filled with happiness, so if you have any speculation or concern that you may be a victim of gaslighting, then you owe it to yourself to get down to the bottom of it.

In Gaslighting, you will discover:

  • The red flags to look out for in your relationships
  • The four areas in your life where manipulation can be present that may be going undetected
  • Reasons why not every manipulator is the same
  • The best way to counter your manipulator according to their type and technique of control
  • The hidden world behind what goes in on the mind of a manipulator
  • Reasons why gaslighting behavior is neither normal nor should be accepted by anyone
  • The secret to empowerment
  • Ways to rebuild your life after emotional abuse
  • Additional resources to help you through the path to recovery
  • And much more...

Even if you don’t believe you have the power to stand up to your manipulator and make a difference, as long as you have the right knowledge and support to back you up, anything is possible.

With words of empowerment meant to build up confidence, nothing can stop you from getting the life you deserve. Everyone has the right to be in control of their own life, so why shouldn’t it also be the same for you?

Take charge of your life and escape the grasp of your tormentor today. By dealing with the issue step by step, you will find it freeing and feel the weight of the world lifted off of your shoulders.

Take the first step right now, and once again, experience a life of endless opportunities.

Valuable book~

This book finally gave me the "why" I was feeling the way I was feeling. Thanks a thousand times to the author for explaining what was going on. The gaslighters always had this information and now the gaslightees also have the information. Lovely guide!

Good book

This is such good book to listen to. Someone had recommended this book to me and it has been invaluable. It offers tell tale signs to identify the tactics of gaslighters and some extremely healthy tips about how to combat it, maintain your sanity and sense of self. When you go through such things you know something is wrong but you feel like there is no way out. After listening to this book one has a clearer path to a healthy lifestyle.

Worth listening!

Yes gaslighting is an emotional abuse. Yes it is horrible. Yes there are varying degrees of it. But, in order to move past in regardless of the severity, it is going to take some work by the victim to get to a point where they don't just continue to attract them. This book really talks about what it is. Gives examples. Gives exercises. Gives some direction. Worth listening!

Clear and concise

Language is clear and concise. I learned a great deal about myself, especially the reasons behind why I have fallen victim to this tactic in the past and how to zero in on those who practice this in the future. I highly recommend this book.

Helpful to me.

I suffered from a gaslighter for years and I did not know what to do! I was given this audiobook from a friend who was tired of seeing me suffer. After listening to it, it helped me recover from the abuse! The secret path to empowerment was something I found life-changing. If I had known about the red flags to look for which are covered in the audiobook, I would have saved myself years of psychological abuse. This really helped me understand how a gaslighter’s mind operates and how I can look out for my own best interests. If you are ready to help yourself from the gaslighter, buy this book now!!

Gaslighting!

Gaslighting comes in many different forms but the bottom line is lies and turning the problem back on you until it makes you think you are the crazy one. Don't worry, you're not! You're involved with a professional gaslighter!

This is a great book to listen. Thank you.

A good listen

It is very refreshing to listen such a well researched book tackling a less talked about behavior both socially and romantically.
A few things to point out, which the author vaguely points out in the beginning of the book is everyone has some form of gaslighting behavior but not all have a pattern. Audible books like this can empower the wrong audience.
The book tackles important behavioral patterns with excellent examples from family relations, romantic relationships to co-workers and more. I would love to listen more of this book soon.

GREAT

I first listened to Stephanie Moulton Sarkis’s Gaslighting, and, it was ok and it covered the basics. But, Priscilla’s take on the subject was able to go into more detail. The red flags to look for in a relationship were spot on. I used to think that all manipulators were the same. But, after listening to Priscilla’s audiobook, I realized that they are not all the same. Overall, this is a great listen and I highly recommend it!
