Story
House Gracefall wasn’t anything like what Derek had imagined it would be. Instead of rage and anger at the loss of one of their young masters, House Gracefall showed humility and even apologized. Despite one noble house exemplifying honor and nobility, another awaited to reinforce the negative stereotypes that Derek had been anticipating all along. Somehow, out of all that, Derek made a new friend, a new business partner, and learned some secrets, while Silvi got her first taste of the real world of cooking and loved it.

Story
The Shongairi conquered Earth. In mere minutes, half the human race died, and our cities lay in shattered ruins. But the Shongairi didn't expect the survivors' tenacity. And, crucially, they didn't know that Earth harbored two species of intelligent, tool-using bipeds. One of them, long-lived and lethal, was hiding in the mountains of eastern Europe, the subject of fantasy and legend. When they emerged and made alliance with humankind, the invading aliens didn't stand a chance. Now, a select few blood-drinking immortals are on their way to the Shongairi homeworld.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
yes, you don't want to stop this book for any reason. this book is so good you want to keep listening until the end.
Any additional comments?
if you havent listened to the begining of the series I would suggest starting there. While this book has enough background that you wont be lost if you start here the whole series is worth the price.

What made the experience of listening to Battle Station the most enjoyable?
Again Larson creates a book that makes me take a few extra laps around the block so I dont have to get out of the car and stop listening to the book. I hope there is a sixth book to this series soon.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Battle Station?
The Marcros adapting caught me by supprise.
Any additional comments?
is you haven't read this conquest yet, I would suggest starting with Swarm and reading the whole series. While you can read the books out of order, it is much better in order.
