He's not just grinding out those levels, but he's also putting down murderers like nobody's business. Earth looks like it might have a shot at making it! Except that someone isn't too happy with Justin's meddling—someone powerful and working from the shadows to tear down everything he's been building.

He was meant to die in obscurity, yet another level 82 Templar that was just about to get chewed up by a horde of skittering monstrosities clawing at humanity's last enclave. One short conversation with a time-splitting monstrosity later, and Justin finds himself flung five years into the past-right when the Earth was first chosen to host the 9,947th Gladiatorial Games.

Pretty good, quite different. I do feel like the story could be a bit more fleshed out at times to increase world building. Nevertheless, the tempo is very good and keeps readers engaged. Chronokinesis is also an unusual power so there's lots of potential and it keeps things fun.

I did not expect to find a gem before the end of 2021 and so was very surprised at the quality here.
Original story, good card mechanics, good world building. Lots of potential for universe expansion.
A few hiccups here and there but very minor and left the story unnaffected.

I pre-ordered this book on a whim for an audible promotion and ended up with a very pleasing surprise.
One of the first MCs in a litrpg novel whom is not a bit mentally challenged... or more precisely, this is the first MC I can identify to with his min/maxing and build optimizations.
The world building is not overly complicate but does not feel lacking.
Great setup for a series with great potential.
I can honestly say I am looking forward to the next book in the series and for more from this author.

The story is alright but there are a few plotholes, one which is massive.
This is, however, not the best performance of this narrator. The pauses were not all that great and the general tone was not as good as for some of his previous work
