Story
A force of nature blew in. His name is Chris Triton. Tattooed god. Moody ex SEAL. Zero filter. Born to drive me bonkers. We barely spoke for 10 minutes before he kissed my soul out. Too fast. Too intense. Too flipping good. Then I found out we'd be sharing the same roof the very next day. Dad marrying his mom squashed our little chemistry experiment instantly. You know, the normal reaction. But Chris doesn't do normal. Or predictable. Or sane.

The last name has changed but the story is the same. Save your credit if you've already read Stepbrother unSEALed.
This is one of her first books she wrote and you can tell while listening to this book. It sounds like a new author not the same nicole snow we all have come to love... But it does prove how amazingly far she has come in her writing and story telling skills.

Story
When 17-year-old Katy Swartz moved to West Virginia right before her senior year, she'd pretty much resigned herself to thick accents, dodgy Internet access, and a whole lot of boring, but then she spotted her hot neighbor, with his looming height and eerie green eyes. Things were looking up...until he opened his mouth. Daemon Black is infuriating. Arrogant. Stab-worthy. It's hate at first sight, but when a stranger attacks her and Daemon literally freezes time with a wave of his hand, well, something...unexpected happens. The hot guy next door? Well, he's an alien.

Daemon's name is pronounced currently!!
Reviewed: 06-29-22
I'm a little annoyed with all the people giving bad reviews thru the entire series because of how the Daemon's name is pronounced
1st of all it is in book one. When Dee meets Katie at the store for the first time. Dee mentions her brother Daemon. Katie asks his name is Daemon "Well that's fitting" So regardless of how you think it it's pronounced the author meant for it to sound like Demon.
2nd When AE is within the word it is a long vowel. Pronounced EEEEE. example Algae or Ceasar.
3rd and finally Giving 1 star reviews because of one word. Is just disrespectful and rude

I'm so glad I took the risk on this Author's debut romance novel. 100% worth the Credit. My only criticism is it was a little predictable but that did not take away from the anticipation of what will happen next.
The book opens with Man being interrogated by Dmitry an enforcer for the Russian Mob. After the interrogation was unsuccessful Dmitry finds himself at the end of a dark road hiding in the shadows watching Daisy a women he has become infatuated with.
Daisy a young women from a broken home works herself to the bone to keep a roof over her mother and older brother's head. Her Mother's Boyfriend finds himself in debt with the mob. To save her family's life she puts herself up for auction to pay his debt.
Dmitry wins, He has 1 week to convince her to stay with him permanently But that will prove harder then expected. Both Daisy and Dmitry's Broken Past and the things they have witnessed leaves them both with self doubt and gaurded. it will be their biggest obstacle to over come.
added bonus there is no angst in this book and the sex scenes are scorching hot.
I love this book from the very beginning to the very end. I can't wait to read more from Lexi Heart. I really really really hope she makes this a series. Please tell me Joseph will get his own book.... Maybe Jeremy too!

I just started 2nd part. This box set was broken into 2 parts. I asummed 1st part was Liv's book and the 2nd Breezy's. I had gone and read the summaries of each book before purchasing the set and decided to start Liv's first. Thank goodness I did.
I'm doing the review now because I wanted to warn readers that the first 2 chapters in the second part are the last 2 chapters of the first part.
I will come edit my review after I'm done with the second part.

Their relationship has always been easy and affectionate, but after Riley's month long vacation, things become a little strange. She starts to look at him in ways that go way beyond the 'friend zone'. Add in her best friend's rival, and things become a whole lot more complicated.

Underrated Unappreciated Brilliance
Reviewed: 06-07-19
I received this book for free for my honest opinion. Before writing this review I went and read the other Amazon reviews. I was shocked to see how many people disliked this book. I had to hold back on writing this review to think about how I was going to put into words how brilliant and different this book is without coming off sounding like I'm kissing ass! I listen to 2 more audiobooks before sitting down today. Something dawned on me as to why this book is so unappreciated.
The Characters in the book are YA but it reads more like Adult Romance. Many of the bad reviews complained about the unlikelihood of the events, They Questioned the behavior of the adults in the book and knit picked on things that could never happen to a pair of high schoolers. But those same reviewers will put up 5 star reviews on the Stories about a Billionaire that falls in love with the awkward shy girl he sees at the coffee shop that just caught her boyfriend cheating on her right after she was fired from her job. Most of those books are so far from reality but we love them anyways knowing that never
happens in real life. It is the fantasy that keeps us reading them, Romance books are written to touch our every desire.
That is exactly what this Author did... It is brilliantly written based on what a teen girl would desire. A teenager wants Parents that will let her date an older guy, Have a boy spend the night in her room or let her go on an unchaperoned trip to vegas with her friends. Teenagers do Stupid immature things when they are trying to be an adult. In order to really enjoy this book you have to get intouch with your inner teenager.
This is a great Friends to Lovers story for the older YA group. It has everything that makes up a good romance novel. The narrators did an awesome job on all the characters . I'm going to share this with my 16 yr old niece and will be getting the next book in the series.

Story
Sometimes what starts out as fake can get all too real. Things started out innocently enough. Put on the spot by my sister about going on a blind date, I mention I'm already dating someone else. But then she wants to meet him. Better yet, she wants me to bring him to our upcoming family gathering so he can meet everyone. Which would be a fantastic idea if he wasn't a complete work of fiction. My best friend, Julian, suggests I bring a fake date, and it sounds like a good plan. What could go wrong?

It Might Be Better to Read the Ebook
Reviewed: 04-20-19
I Love the Fake Relationship themes. After reading the blurb I was looking forward to listening to this one. I listen to the 3rd chapter and got Lost as to who was who. I thought maybe I couldn't multitask while listening. So laid down in a quite room and started over. I made it to the 4th chapter before giving up. The narrator didn't fluctuate her voice for different characters. Male and Females all sounded like the same person. I didn't know who was talking. I would think it was Avery speaking but then it ended up Julian. I got lost and confused. I am going to get the ebook and give this book another try. I highly recommend reading it if your able instead of audio. From what I had heard I think it could possibly be a great Story.

It was one freaking kiss with a stranger. I wasn't looking for a hero the day Brent Eden charged into my life. He saw a damsel in distress facing humiliation. We played pretend. Swore I was his. Baited sweet chaos. Blew apart everything. My dating disaster? Gone. Our kiss? Electric. Divine. Toe-curling. His mistake? Oh, boy. Dropping the ultimate F-bomb: fiancée. Especially when my gossipy cousin tells the whole family.

I Just Loved Brent and Blue (Izzy). Brent is the Perfect mix between Hero and Anti-Hero. You can just feel The Veneration he has for his Daughter and Blue just seep out of him. Blue is the Perfect Mix Between Sweet and Cutthroat. I loved how her Surrogate Mama Bear built up and came out in the end. The only Downside is that you were given just enough of the Supporting Character's stories that left you wanting to know more about them. I feel that this book should of been made into 2 books to tell more of the parts of the story that were important but left open. I was left with a lot of questions like.... What happened with the School? Was douche bag alive? Is Clara riding on the back of a Harley now? Is Blue Teaching art?
All in all the book was worth the credit. It had all the great elements you want in a romance book with a good balance between them all.

I even Loved the Cliffhanger!!!
Reviewed: 04-11-18
This was a great book from 2 Amazing author's. This book literally made me laugh out loud, turn red In embarrassment (you'll know the scene as soon as it happens) and a few times wanted me to knock the 2 main characters in the head with frustration. I hope a few of the supporting characters get their own story *Wink Wink. The Drama leading up to and after the twist was the perfect amount. It didn't over power the story or take away from it But the Big Plot twist came at the end of course leaving a cliffhanger that will probably frustrate you! I know some people despise cliffhangers. I just hope people don't give a bad review based solely on the cliffhanger. if so Ignore them! this Book is 100% worth it!!

Dear Agony, You've been my shadow, following me through childhood - filling my days and nights with terror and uncertainty. You cleverly disguised yourself as some form of pain or suffering as I grew into a young woman. We were unwavering companions...until I severed our ties. I traded homelessness on the streets of New Orleans for a luxurious bed covered by the finest linens. I traded Dumpster diving for dinner in the finest restaurants. I traded myself to a stranger - Bastien Pascal.

I loved Rose and Bas's Story. this Book is a Sweet Slow Burn. Rose was unwanted snd Mentally Abused at Home. She Was Forced to Grow up Fast living on the streets Homeless. Bastian Grew Up in a Wealthy, Privileged, Loving and Drama Free Home. He is the only surviving member in his Family when He gets a devastating medical diagnosis that hardens his out look in life. It was refreshing to see the Heroine be the strong dominant one in the Story. She Is Taken off The Streets By a Women Named Vail that runs a Legitimate Male Companion Business called Duets. Rose is trained to become a Duet over a 3 year period before being placed with her first Male Companion. Bas and Vail have been Friends since they were Children. Vail Owes a sizeable debt to Bas for loaning her the money to start her business. Bas offers to wipe the remaining Debt For Rose.
With the Stipulation of No Sex. Bas just wants a friend so He is Not alone when his illness takes over. It was incredibly Sweet that the Love that grew was the Love of Friendship first. of course this is a love story so that slowly grows to more.
The Sexual Frustration and Build up left me a little disappointed when they finally cross the line from Friends to Lovers. The Sex Scenes are PG-13. They Fade from the moment he Enters her Straight to the after Bliss Cuddling.
The Plot Twist is Predictable but not necessarily in a bad way. The Plot twist isn't the main focus in this part of the story. the important part is how the characters handle it.
This might be a bit of a spoiler But I strongly think this is Important to mention. This Book has an underling sensitive topic that could be a trigger for some. Although the word Suicide is not specifically stated it is Highly implied through out the whole book. Personally Having Someone Extremely Close to me Take their own life. As well as Knowing my own and Hearing Other Suicide survivor stories I felt it was necessary to add this statement.

The friendship made between the characters and the Love Between Vale and Slate was proof of how Powerful The Mind and Heart are. I am really having a hard time finding the words to say because it would just give it away. so my parting words will be Encrypted... Vale and Slate's connection was the only thing Real!
