a review

The story was interesting but at times I found it hard to stay focused with the narrator. best way I can put it, he read the boring going through the motion parts like it should be interesting and I found that distracting. Definitely was trying to hard.

Great and refreshing story!

loved the book. I could not put it down. really enjoyed the character development. well done!

The Wraith Blade (book 1)

This was the most exciting performance I’ve ever heard! Never a dull moment and it seemed when there were parts of the story where I would compare what I would do for a situation, so did the character. Conner was amazing as a leader. ‘The leader who lead without any intentions” sums it up perfectly. Got to say, ’m impressed. The only down fall of the whole story was Zander lived. Getting book two now.

I enjoyed it

I liked the narrators voice. Was not a big fan of his female voices though. Nothing you can really do about that. The story was good. I do wish the chapters blended a little better besides just switching between characters.

There was alot going on in this book while at the same time holding my attention. I enjoyed it

Really Good

I really liked this book and look forward to the next one, wondering if the second book is the final or if there will be another one afterwards, however I'm sure I'll find out at the end lol

The thieving of the alchemist story was just bad

The thieving of the alchemist story was about the main character quizzing the witch character about everything while robbing a store of its ingredients and forcing her to answer dumb and stupid questions.
it took him 25 minutes of stupid questions, during a robbery.
The author just wasted my time to fill his story with garbage.

Beginning of an interesting Saga

S.M. Boyce - Wraithblade. A story with well written characters that have depth and logical motivations. Even the bad guys. Well choreographed fight scenes. Magic still a little vague but that appears to be on purpose. Book 1 had an ending but also provided enough storylines to expand on. Certainly worthy to continue with. DRmz 2-01-25.

great book loved it and can't wait for the rest

I wasn't sure about this book when I saw a couple reviews. however I found it grabbed my attention and held it there in fact I binge listened to this rooting along with it and caught my self emerged in the description of even the simplest of things

Love the book, needs a different narrator

Love the book, S.M. Boyce did a fantastic job with the story and pacing and I'm so happy that the second book is out so I can start reading it. That being said I hope the narrator gets changed for book 2. As much as I enjoy hearing uncle Iroh as the wraith king, the majority of the character voices are bleh, and the narrator doesn't seem to understand when they story needs to be hyper serious or when it needs to be relaxed. Overall I recommend the book but just read it on kindle if you have the time and don't waste the money on the audio book.
