Excellent book!

I loved this book. The author was really funny and knowledgeable about wine. I learned a lot and recommended it to a friend. My only complaint is the politics infused into the last part of the book.... I don’t understand why authors need to do this

Entertaining

Would you consider the audio edition of Wine. All the Time. to be better than the print version?

I thoroughly enjoyed the audio book, but having a hard copy would be handy. The author is highly entertaining, and there is a lot of interesting information for a long-time wine lover, but new to trying to become a wine connoisseur.

Super good overview

if you like to laugh and drink you will like this book. Great info without being all judgie. Drinking a (much better than my usual) glass of wine right now because of this book. Most useful book on wine I have ever listened to.

a perfect introduction!

there were a few points I felt the book didn't translate to audio super well, mostly when reading large sets of data (like regions, ect) but overall a wonderful listen

Fun and Informative!

I loved this book! I wanted to learn about wine and not be bored to tears. Mission accomplished! I didn’t feel the liberal vibe as much as other reviewers, but I’m also pretty open-minded. She’s young, and I appreciated her fresh perspective. I’m now reading her BA articles and listening to her podcasts. She’s hilarious and smart. Yay wine!

Wine dumb old man review

Suggested by Short Walk Wine (Raleigh NC) staff. Reluctantly bought Audible to get this audiobook and it's is greatly magnifying my wine knowledge and has tickled my humor bones to a new whine level.

Playing the terminology section and wine pronunciation sections over and over. High adult Humor quality told to build the wine story.

Great Listen

I highly suggest this book! It was a very easy listen and very entertaining Definitely helped me to expand my wine knowledge and taught me a lot about other types of wine that are out there! Give it a listen and you won't regret it!

Felt like chilling with a new bestie

I was sad when this book was over and within the first few sentences I felt immediately like Marissa was my bff. I thought the profanity was funny and conversational. Some of the content was lists, and would have been better in written format as a reference book. Don't expect every single fact or piece of advice to be groundbreaking or novel, but it's still informative and enjoyable, and if Marissa doesn't win you over you're probably a terrible person who hates fun.
