This was another great book.
I found this story to be quite fascinating. I have already read the Kindle version from before and have found the audiobook an excellent edition. The Kindle edition of the series is very far ahead of the audiobook edition, so I find this to be a great refresh to my memory of this story.

Very obvious things happen
yeah the best thing about the series is I can read one book a day at work. really just here for the cute moments kinda skip alot of the flashbacks at this point. I still keep up with them but skip huge amounts. one thing I like about returner books is you don't get the whole past story you just get little flash backs not half a chapter every chapter.

has potential to be good
I have a few issues with this series/ author. 1) the books are way too short, not much happens. 2) "demon beast mountain range" was said nearly 100 times & "Spiritualist grand tournament " was said about 50 times. either it's filler to make the book longer or the author assumes us readers/listeners are completely stupid. 3) the amount of important information over looked by the MC is disturbing & very convenient for the author to force the story in a certain direction. 4) only one spicy scene.
I want to like this series but the author makes it extremely difficult. kinda feels like we are being milked for every dollar possible.

Eric absolutely let Dire die do to his stupidity. If he had even half a brain working in thay empty noggin, he would have woke everyone up and told them to come with him to the source of the spiritual pressure. Because he didn't, she died. I cannot emphasize enough how her death is ENTIRELY HIS FAULT! Love him as a character, but there is no forgiveness for failing to protect someone due to your own stupidity.
