Very Entertaining Listen!!

I really wanted to see more 5 star ratings for this book! I think this book deserves it. The characters created by the author are full of faults and completely human. They go through crazy situations that are not predictable. The only predictable part of the story was that the King had to die but I really did not expect it to happen the way it did. I do hope there will be more books to follow because the story certainly has room to grow. Very well done to everyone involved!

Phenomenal!

Just finished this and already have the second downloaded. Maybe one of the best fantasy novels I’ve listened to - and the narrator is superb!

Very good

This is a great story as the first part of a series. This narrator is fantastic and her voice changes fit the characters. She’s the best I’ve heard thus far. The ending leaves you impatiently waiting for the sequel. Well done.

Story Telling at it’s Finest!

I’d been listening a slew of “just okay” books before I stumbled upon this jewel.
What a breath of fresh air! The difference is so noticeable when you find true writing and story telling talent.
I felt grateful to the author and narrator for this artistry. Needless to say I loved this book!

Fantastic

I don't know why everyone isn't talking about this book! it is definitely one of my favorite reads this year!

Loved it!

I really liked this book. The beginning is a little slow, but makes sense for the story. Keep reading, it definitely picks up! I still can’t decide who my favorite character is, because there are so many great ones. Very excited for book two to come out. Also, the narrator is fantastic. I will definitely be looking out for books she has narrated in the future.

The narrator did this one justice and brought out the best of it. I can't wait for the next one to be released!

Awesome world building

I like the diversity of the characters, their motivations, and the hidden drive of the gods behind them. The opening scene is an attention grabber and right off the rip you’re invested. The protagonist is disabled and at times seems weak and infuriating at first but the longer the story moves forward the more all of the characters change.

Intriguing adult fantasy

Intriguing adult fantasy (some sexual content) that centers around a good hearted yet reckless princess, She loves her father, the king, and mother, the queen. When a death occurs, she’s whisked away into a world that she was unaware of, and must learn about the rebels, her family and most of all, herself. Lots of excitement and emotion. Good, consistent characters. Interesting magic use. Well told tale. The narrator is phenomenal! You can clearly hear every character as a unique tone, accent, way of speaking. It’s a long listen for a single book so you get your money’s worth on accounts.

Lots of characters, kept my attention, but I wanted fewer males voices. Off to My next Adventure!
