This book is basic life saving skills. We need water for survival. I have my fire escape ladder, and an earthquake preparedness kit, but I did NOT have my water survival covered. Thank you Carlos Mack for your insightful guide on what you need to know about clean water, storage of water and other countless tips and recommendations for the WHAT IF. This is the ultimate resource for preparing and being able to safeguard your family in any water crisis. Take control of your what if and get this book. This is chock full of great information, answered all my questions, and everything is made simple enough that I can get started immediately. Glad I found this audiobook!

Emergency Preparedness 101

This audiobook covers everything I can think of that a beginner needs to start their quest for emergency preparedness.  Water is essential for survival so the author goes in-depth on all aspects of water preparedness: appropriate containers, purification, storage, transportation, and maintenance.  I particularly appreciate that he points out best safety practices and even details mistakes a lot of people make, giving us the best chance to proactively avoid those 🙂

Without being preachy or predicting doomsday, Mr. Mack comes along side the reader to encourage and guide them through a streamlined process of assessing water needs and making plans most appropriate to their specific needs.  I will be keeping this book handy during the planning and execution of my own plan, but I also expect to refer back to it regularly to make sure my family's water supply is protected.

A good amount of the information may be general knowledge level for many, but there is a vast amount of information that goes beyond general knowledge, is very interesting, and valuable to know for general and specific survival situations. In this day and time, we need to have this kind of information readily available to us. If you are a Prepper, you will absolutely love this book. I highly recommend this book for the masses, even if it is just to learn about the importance of water relative to life, living, and good health.

This book is a must-read for everyone because we all need water to survive, and we don't have 100% control over our access to it. “Water for Survival” teaches the importance of water and what to do with limited water in an emergency. It provides details about safe storage, sanitation, and transportation of water. Details are provided on all the natural disasters that can threaten our access to water and how to prepare for them. I really appreciate all of the actual accounts of people faced with water shortages. They really emphasize the importance of planning. Along with details about different types of water purification, the pros and cons of the options are presented. This book is especially essential for hikers and anyone who wants to be prepared in case of a disaster.
