Be an influential leader!

It is an awesome guide to becoming a more effective and influential leader. Chapter 2, "What You're Saying When You're Not Saying Anything," immediately caught my attention. It reminded me of a time when I was leading a team, and I realized that my non-verbal communication had a significant impact on my team's motivation. The chapter's emphasis on the importance of body language and non-verbal cues was enlightening and made me reflect on how I could improve my leadership style. The narration in this book is excellent.

Up Your Game as a Leader

This is a great listen for anyone who has just become a leader or wants to improve his or her skills. The author discusses the practices that great leaders exhibit that make them admired and respected by their employees. The book is a reminder that facts tell, but stories sell. He talks at great length about the impact stories make when giving a speech or a talk to a group. Another important quality is that of body language and how it can help connect or "turn off" your listeners. The last point that impacted me was the importance of having fun in the workplace. Having fun is major component of employees satisfaction, even more so than pay. Great listen!

The most important leadership tools in one book

Carl wrote about nuances like Rapport & body language he delved into the details of successful Storytelling. Most leaders don’t necessarily think about engaging Employees to contribute to the goals of company. Carl gives example of using rewards to create win/wins. I enjoyed that this book went into the nitty gritty of the how-to where most books just skim the big topics.

This audiobook is interesting and has good tips for becoming a more efficient leader. Nice narration.

I love learning about leadership and becoming a better communicator.
I'm a dad, author and businessman and I found everything in this book relevant.
The audio helped me relate better to people and just be more confident in general.

This book is a great listen. The narrator has a very commanding and smooth voice making this easy to listen to. This is a great book for the new career professional or a manager/leader that needs to up their game. What makes a great leader? This book dives into it for you! What's your body language saying that could be contradicting what your saying? This book will give you insight on how to use your body language to support and sell what your saying. It's a package deal! You can hone your communication skills with the tips and techniques you will find inside this book. Are you the leader your employees or team members Want to work for? You will be after you listen/read this book. Great resource and highly recommend for anyone. At the bare minimum, communication is KEY and this can help anyone engage and motivate and influence others in the work place or out.

Leadership pearls

I listend to this book at just the right time for me!
It's written with a perspective of experience and wisdom. I was really taken by the strategies for communication explained clearly and I am in the process of implementing these in the team that I manage to engage them more in the business' success and growth. HIghly recommend!

Anytime I can find new things to learn I jump on them and Carl did not disappoint! If you want to hone in your communication ability with your relationships or your team, this is the book for you!
