it OK it is the bible with no drama <br />

it is good but it is just read with no emotions and no drama or inflection

Great narration of the perfect book ever. Would be nice to have it separated by books.

Spoken word soothes the brains distractions

Spoken well enjoyable to listen to but having difficulty in finding book chapter verse. Just have not become acquainted with system in which it is organized. I am sure over time I will get accustomed. My first audio experience and it is great since eyes are beginning to fail.

I love Christian movies and stories, but the problem is the melodrama - overacting and the constant music always takes away from the stories. As much as I appreciate actors playing the parts of the Bible characters, the overacting and constant music drives me nuts. This version is great because it's just narrated and at least for me, I'm getting a lot more from the story, able to listen for longer periods, and not getting annoyed by all the background noise.

If you like the acting and music, this isn't the version for you, but if you're like me and just want the story, then this is probably a good version for you.

I tried a Bible reading that had music in the background and it was terrible. It would lull me to sleep as I was listening or it would be inappropriete at certain points. This reading helps you just focus on the words spoken and the contents.

it's a long book but I got through it! this is a great production for anyone.

Wonderful reading

This would have been even more wonderful if the actual chapters were the actual chapters of the Bible. It doesn't make much sense that you cannot logically navigate the Bible through the chapters.

Breathe in the Word of God...

Bob Souer did a fantastic job with this audio book. It is the best audio of the New King James Version of the Bible that I have listened to barring none and I have listing to a few of them including the dramatized version. It's the Bible so what else can be said about the book? With a book like this, a book like no other, ones review must be of the the narrator and I say he did awesomely. I actually picked up another of his narrations just because it him reading. All IL all was please with this audio book and would recommend it as the go to audio book of you want to listen the NKJV Bible. I cannot think of a better one, well done, to both the narrator and the producers of this title. Bob's voice is well suited for audio books and aide from John Lee and Charton Griffin has become my favourite narrator of audio books.
