Ready for raw and real?

Viking Warriors, Books 1-3 by Emmanuelle De Maupassant, Audible edition, is made up of three books" Viking Thunder, Viking Wolf, and Viking Beast, and is read by Emma Parry. A Viking party landed in Elswyth's village to make repairs. Mostly they treated the villagers as a raiding party would, death and rape of women. The leader, Erick, decrees that no women were to be taken from their homes by force; only those willing to go would be able to. The only two who wished to go were Elswyth and her adult stepdaughter? Upon the return to the Viking village, Elswyth went with Erick to be his woman. Her husband had been killed in the attack and she couldn't say she missed him. Thus begins the story of Elswyth's stay with the Vikings. It is a dark romance, plenty of explicit sex and raw emotion in the three books in this set. Emma Parry did a fabulous job with the narration. Since the story is told from Elswyth's point of view, mostly, she is the perfect choice. Her English accent lends an air of formality to the books and allows us to believe it all happens in a foreign land. There could not have been a better choice. I loved it!

Good Spicy Viking Tale!

I love Viking stories and enjoyed this trilogy. I think the narrator did a great job and her voice is perfect for the old world tale BUT having an older voice reading DETAILED spicy scenes in the first person didn't fit and honestly it was more than a bit cringy for me. :O

Good storytelling

I enjoyed these stories very much. I wanted to turn it off. Couldn't wait to turn it back on. Made crude gestures at it. Fussed at it. Everything you want to do with a good story.

The narrators were good! Certainly would be a rough time for a female to live in the Viking times.🤯 Some might be offended but it would be how history actually was in those times. It is what it is! all 3 stories were really good and had a happy ending. Definitely worth the credit🥰 And the sex was definitely hot🔥🔥🔥🔥

A strong woman navigating Viking territory

I enjoyed these three books. Very entertaining but be warned the sex scenes are quite descriptive.

Three books. Amazing reads.

These three volumes are absolutely wonderful. Don't get this unless you have a huge chunk of time. You won't be able to put it down. It is dark, but delicious. The feels are deep. The characters, so strong in their harsh world. As I have just listened to it, now I'd like to go back and read it. It is that good!

Wonderful set of Viking Romance

I adored these three tales of Elswyth and the three men who touched her life m. There is much tragedy and heartache in this. An awesome story of love and faith overcoming the past to survive. It sucked me in from page one till the last. My emotions were all over the place. It was well written with an excellent narration. The characters burst to life in my mind. Sights and smells described so well I could feel the heat and smell the scents as she described them. I felt the iron taste of blood as I listened. This is my first book by Emmanuelle de Maupassant but it certainly won’t be my last. Due to strong sexual content I would recommend adults only. Still, it was a magnificent piece of work. Five stars across the board.

Great book, kept my attention all the way to the end, amazing audio delivery, loved it. Will be reading again, every chapter was received amazingly do recommend you give it a read.

Love Beyond Words

Emmanuelle has written a great series of books that show that even through tragedy and people tearing them apart...love will find a way. It does have violence and strong sexual content. Emma Perry is a wonderful narrator and keeps you engaged from beginning to end. I highly recommend this series to anyone over 18yo.
