Excellent!

I wasn't 100% sure where this book was going when I started it, but I was hooked. It was exciting, well written, and well narrated. I have read some of CA's books, but this is by far my favorite!

I just want more...

One of the biggest compliments I can give a book is that I want more of it. Some books seem to go on forever and I'm almost happy when I hear "Audible hopes you have enjoyed this program". This is not one of those books that made me happy to hear that phrase. In fact, I was kinda disappointed when I heard them. This story captivated me and I can't wait to hear more books in this series!

Warning, this book ends on a cliffhanger so you've been warned.

Also, I want to give huge praise to the narrator. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I know that the narration played a huge role in it.

Great story, can't wait for the next book.

I enjoyed the story of this book, did a good job of building the characters. Kept me wondering what was going to happen next and the conspiracy behind it all. Felt that it ended with too soon, but that is how you sell books :)
The only slight criticism I have is how gun rights were brought into this book, it felt a bit awkward in the story line, would have been just as good without that. Unless it plays more into future volumes of this story.

interesting

I did like the story but it seemed short.
that maybe because it was so good It was captivating.
it did leave a few unanswered/explained details that I can only hope are cleared up in book two coming in spring of 2019......wait! it is spring of 2019 damn it there goes another credit!!

A Great Start To A New Series

I really enjoyed the story and characters, but just when it got to where I didn't want to stop listening...It stopped! All good books should at least be 9 hours long, not 6 hours 52 minutes! I can't wait for the next book!

Love the merge of apocalyptic and spy novel

The fresh combination of preparedness and (very mild) Jack Ryan type of book. Very nice! Story is captivating and not to much of the “gun blazing have the whole world in my backpack prepper” bs. So all in all I would recommend it and will get the next book

good first book for a series

very interesting and well-written story I enjoyed it quite much the story was very intriguing and very well told dinner was great and everything worked and collided quite well

C.A. Rudolph has outdone himself!

The plot is well thought out and quite exciting. The characters are interesting plus they make you want to root for them. My favorite part is that it shows Americans at their best, fighting for their country. I cannot wait until the next book comes out!

I didn't see that coming!!!

Wow! ok, the first two chapters were slow. Not slow a lot enough to not enjoy but slow-paced. Kind of fact building the character buildup. But before you know it you are hooked! All I can say is wow! this is a different story line in the thee others you've heard like this book, and it is great. You usually tell where the story is heading but this twist blew me away.

Worth the listen. And as always Kevin's performance is amazing.
