Great!

I knew who Priyanka Chopra was as I watched all her movies and have bought every single magazine cover she has been on in the States, but now it feels like i really know her...personally. This book goes through many layers in her life and she touches on each layer so beautifully. I'm in awe of the relationship she had with her dad and has with her mom and how she was raised. She had stayed true to herself not only in her journey throughout her public life but also in her words in this book. I loved the fact that she did the reading of her own book, it was as if she was talking to me personally. She highlighted all the heights of her life as well as the lows. I, being Indian myself, also grew up in the states. Not born here but moved here from a different country. I could relate to all of the bullying that Priyanka went through. There is comedy, sadness and power in this book. Not only does it tell a story of a girl who becomes a women in all her endeavors but it teach small life lesson in every step she look to achieving greatness, that every person should learn. Thank you Priyanka for telling your story and for really making a difference in my life. I have learned a great deal from you, especially when it comes to strengths and standing up for yourself. You will always be an inspiration to me as well as a person I will always look up to. I'm so glad you wrote this book. I hope that you write another!

ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT

I am a big fan of Priyanka Chopra , I started reading this book a little after it came out and may I say I loved it . This book has inspired me in numerous ways and I’ve recommended it to my entire family & friends. Having it being read by the author as well made me feel closer to her and I felt like I was watching her read it in person , loved it once again and I hope everyone else finds it as amazing and inspirational as I did ! 5 star rating .

Informative and inspiring

I enjoyed reading it with utmost pride for India’s “Desi Girl”, all through her trials and successes. The book also ends up being partially Indians 101 which is a great game introduction from one of the nation’s best. I had tears when she went to the boarding school and was gripped with sadness when she lost her father but those relatable moments were few and the book was more informative instead.

Priyanka painted such a vivid picture with her words. Each story flowed into the next seamlessly. I felt like I was there with her. From her time at home, to her relationship with her dad, the pain she experienced during his illness and the joy of meeting her husband - It was like she was talking to me directly. Well Done, Priyanka! I wish you all the love, happiness and success this world has to offer. I can't wait for another book!

Amazing Woman!

I just couldn’t stop listening to this audiobook. I was amazed at every inch of this book. Priyanka Chopra Jonas is an amazing women. Such heartfelt and honest compassion! A book I would definitely gift to any woman!

I loved the story it was so inspiring and Prianka’s reading is marvelous, I felt like it was my best friend talking to me about her stories. I learned a lot from Prianka’s journey and I highly recommend this book to everyone who dreams big 💗

One of the most inspiring books I've read so far

I loved the book, listened all 8h in a day without a break! Simple, clear, direct and deep messages. An open window to the soul of an inspiring woman that I personally found a lot in common with. This book gave me hope, gave me courage to continue being who I am no matter what. As Priyanka says, this is our superpower. Also, I loved the genuine narrative, no posh words, you can feel her down-to-earth upbringing and deep-rooted values between the lines. I am happy she hasn't lost those becoming part of the American idolised Hollywood industry. She is different. And that's beautiful. She stands out and she definitely makes history. I recommend it, especially if you are a millennial.

Moving

I’m not entirely sure what I thought this book would be about but it moved me to tears, it moved me towards my family, and moved me to think about my impact on my work community and the community of other. Priyanka, you are inspiring! Thank you 🙏🏼
