Not Thriller & Suspense
The whole book seemed a bit silly to me - I kept waiting for something to happen. The story is about Mel's life from HS through her mid 30's. I enjoyed the book and felt it was well-narrated, but if you're looking for a thriller, this certainly isn't it.

This is a great book!!
I was hesitant about this book. I read some Fern Michaels books years ago and wasn’t that impressed. But this book is great. The main character is funny and very smart! I couldn’t stop listening.

Character development was excellent and had my attention
I enjoyed the detailed and nuanced character development. It set the story firmly for each adventure in the main character’s life. I had a hard time putting the book down because I couldn’t wait to see how it unfolded. This was a real page turner!

This book was decent, but it is about a girl from 8 years old to 30 ish. Thus is a book that you can miss 6 chapters and still becaught up.
