Different……in a good way
I really enjoyed this listen. I am a reality tv junkie and this ran right up my alley. I loved how they dived into the characters and back stories. I loved how it all came together in the end and how they explained everything. I was happy that it ended the way it did. Worth a listen

The story line was unique and I loved how it all tied together
I didn’t dislike anything about this book! I thought that the ending pulled it all together, there was mystery. There was a little bit of action and a sprinkle of hope at the very end.

The Most Dramatic Season Yet...
What is better than watching reality TV?

Let me tell you, One Lucky Winner is not a show you would want to join. At first glance, it seems like a wild mix of popular reality shows, each contestant assuming a role: best friend, confidant, senator, boyfriend, and executive. The contestants are secluded in a mansion, competing for $10 million. The catch? Alliances, viewer votes, physical challenges, and outsmarting the producers are all part of the game.
This was my second book by Heather Gudenkauf, and it did not disappoint. It is a sharp commentary on society, with contestants willing to do anything for the prize and viewers quick to judge based on mere minutes of screen time.
I will not give away more, but skip your late-night reality binge and read this instead. It is fast-paced, and you will be hooked!

Everyone was HOOKED
Damn this was a great book. I’m a big fan of Big brother and those type shows anyhow, so this book was an amazing listen for me. Plus, I mean, Brittany Pressley; need I say more. She could read the dictionary to me and I’d probably like it.
At any rate, HUGE Heather G fan. Love all

Not for me
I usually love these types of stories and it should have been right up my alley. But I didn’t connect with the characters. The story wasn’t interesting or compelling and I just couldn’t get into it.
