Long and kinda slow

I enjoyed the first book but I found this book to be too long and go with long periods of boring conversations. I did read the third book which is a lot better. This book is basically building the plot, so it’s slow but necessary. Personally I think hours could be cut out but in the end I really like this series.

It was a good read, just wish they hadn’t spent so much time trying to get Diana

Romance

Everything mucho good, lots of plot. A lot of people said it was repetitive but I didn’t think it was. I thought it was perfect to showcase how Dianna heals from the most crazy amount of heartbreak.

The Throne of Broken Glass

This books keeps surprising me. The characters are evolving and learning much about themselves, their powers, their allies, and their enemies. The plot thickens and live is on the radar. Heavily. A lot of action and romance …. Great book!! Ruthie Bowles continues to do an excellent job. The male voices still don’t donut for me. It’s a better if taste I guess …. But I do love her female voices.

From beginning to end I loved it...suspenseful and some mysteries unleashed! can't wait for the next book!

Loved it but could have been shorter

Fell in love with the first book and had a comfortable yet happy marriage with this one.
It was so damn long, could have used some editing in the middle. Performance, plot and ending, all made up for the flaws tho. On to pre-order the next one.

Its good but...

These have been on my TBR forever and I'll tell you, these dragged on and on and on. I loved the concept but these books could have been 300 to 400 pages less and still had everything to make the story great. Plus the FMC is supposed to be 1000 years old but doesnt

The spiral of emotions I went through… No joke!

Dianna keeps being a total badass. I have felt all of her emotions. Her journey has been a thing to behold.
She’s as fierce as she is sweet. Caring, as she is ruthless. Hot as F as she is downright evil 😂
I freaking love her!
Samkiel. Oh Samkiel! He’s easy the book-boyfriend we all want and asked for. 😍 From his depression to his sacrifice in the name of love. He’s been a very relatable character. I love him! I love him! I love him!
He was always there for Dianna. He helped her through all the grief and anger and, most importantly, he loved her unconditionally. The love he has for his family too… ahh! I’m swooning again just thinking about it. 🥹

The war. The love. The story telling. The narrator. The passion and plot. The surprise plot twists. 🤭
It has everything!!!!! 🤩🤩

I viscerally yelled listening to this

The forbidden romance, the toe-curling spice, the earth-breaking devastation, the jaw-dropping story arc. I quite literally yelled, out-loud, listening to this book. 10/10 on every front.
