Really good book. Perfectly paced with just the right amount of world building and suspense.

With a cast of intresting and likable characters,
slowly unwinding intrigue that keeps you hooked,
powerful deities and sinister forces woking behind the scenes, Son on Morning is a compeling and worthwhile listen. The voice acting, as typical of Derek Perkins, is also masterful and will keep you entertained if not spellbound.

not the in between book I was looking for

I was looking for something to get me through until my other series produced more books. but it's much more. Of course we love derek and as always thank you. Started out great, gotta a little slow but picked up. not use to so much so quick even though we know it's coming I like the way it's playing out. already downloaded the next and this review is taking away from my listening.

Very good and great character development. can't wait for book 2!! I've looked for possible release dates and just disapointed.lol Good job to you Jacob.

A spiritual successor to Robert Jordan

I do not often write reviews but this book warrants one. The characters are full and the heroes have flaws. The villians are evil and cunning, truly worth hating. It reminds me of the wheel of time but smaller at this point. Anyone who has enjoyed that series would do well to listen/read this one.

Amazing abdominal fabulous story

loved this book. exceptional write story that leaves you wanting more. The only negative Part is some of the outcomes were predictable for me. but the narrative was excellent and the book very entertaining.

This book series could make a reader out of me!

This was a great book! I keep reading from this author and like his writing more and more. I am normally not a reader save an author or two, and really haven't read any other books in this genre. This book made me excited to see the next installment in the series. The narrator was also excellent and used many different voices for characters that helped them to come alive! Awesome book!
