Enjoyable escape and slightly tart
Jane Lovering always provides an alternative to the darker books in my library. I appreciate the modernity of her characters with all the stresses of contemporary life. At the same time, I can read calmly knowing things will work out at the end. The secondary characters add humor and liveliness to the main story.
