Loveable Psycho Hockey Banter

Fantastic continuation of the Devil's hockey world. Love the banter between the psychotic but lovable hockey players. The audio narration enhanced the story and brought the characters to life so good I want more.

Troy Duran had me swooning for almost all the male character haha I loved the change in his voice and inflections; he definitely knows how to keep a reader/listener engrossed in the story. Okay! Troy definitely had to put his narration skills to work in this book BECAUSE all previous character were together on multiple occasions. Alexis Page narration was put to the test with this book; She had the FMC and the side character WHICH i was able to love immensely. I really loved how she played off of Troy.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS STORY!!! I LOVED THE MMC TO THE MAX!! Camden James was the "normal" of all the MMC in this series. I love his awkwardness and his need to help; which got worse with the FMC which i absolutely loved. He followed her to make sure that she was safe every night. Although he did use her fear against her to "save" her in multiple ways which luckily didn't last long. I wanted to keep learning more about both characters; the MMC past was also heartbreaking which i think made me like his character and the story more.

Not that it made his action completely forgivable BUT it made me understand why I acted the way he did compared to the other MMCs in the previous books. I think i can guess who the next book will be about and i feel like it will be more comical; I'm here for it.

Loved

Okay, this book is by far my favorite book out the series so far. However, the ending on this one… The Rookie may take its place.. Camden was just sooo freakin cute in this book. My heart broke for Anastasia, everything she went through and still was soo humbled. I love how sweet Camden was toward Anastasia and actually really just listened to her and cared what she had to say. I also thought it was so cute that Camden took one look at Anastasia and knew she was his soulmate and would stop at nothing to have her.

I love this series. This is Camden & Anastasia’s story

I love the narration! Camden James is a defenseman on the Dallas Knights. When he goes to a dance performance with his neighbor Geraldine who is a senior citizen, he sees Anastasia dancing. He becomes obsessed with meeting her. Anastasia has a stalker who had abused her for years after her father had beaten her. She was moved into their neighbors house as a child where her foster brother Michael abused her for years after after year. She left their house and stayed in homeless shelters to get away from Michael. Camden volunteered at homeless shelters and was surprised to see Anastasia in the line for food.

Camden brought her to his penthouse apartment to keep her safe and to gain her trust. Once she recognizes how kind he is, she starts to trust him. Their relationship turns from caring to steamy as she finally understands that she deserves the love that Camden wants to give her.

One of my top faves of the series

Omg! I loved this series and this book has to be number two out of the 4.5 books currently out.

Camden James is exactly the morally gray book boyfriend you want. And all the secondary characters (not in the other books) are fantastic. Logan and Geraldine ❤️❤️❤️.

Troy and Alexis put out amazing performances and I will forever connect their voices to this series. 💋

Babygirl

This book was an easy read, but check out the TWs. Anastasia is a 21-year-old ballerina, and Camden is a 31 hockey player who falls first. She has been through so much! Camden used her struggles to his benefit. He was a walking red flag, and his tattoo was OTT (IYKYK). I didn't take the plot seriously, so I found his psycho-behavior/hero complex not as awful as I should.

Duet Narration is Perfect

I definitely liked Camden more than I thought I would. I love a morally gray man, and he hit that one right on the head!
Camden and Anastasia have such a great story, and I really enjoyed it. I loved the way he saw her needs, and he took care of them. She didn't have to ask for anything. Camden just took care of her.
When he gets all protective of her, I swooned some more!

Troy Duran and Alexis Paige could not have been a better duo for this book. This one is a duet, and I loved it!! There is something about duet narrating that gives the story so much more. Troy is the perfect Camden. He has that growly voice that captures the protective side of Camden. Alexis has the sweet voice that is perfect for Anastasia. She hits the emotions for her in all the best ways.

I highly recommend listening to the other books before so you can enjoy the Circle of Trust a lot better.

Love the whole series!

All of these books are so good. I love how obsessed these men are with their women. Just so good! Lots of laughs too!!
