Useful and Informative

I was listening to another book, tackling similar subject matter, which put me off for reasons I could not pinpoint. This book was a welcome relief from whatever plagued that other book.
Giving concrete examples, telling stories, and yet managing to make the wisdom contained in this book somehow universal is the magic sauce. He strikes the right balance, and keeps you listening. I wouldn’t call it “entertainment,” but it is engaging and engrossing enough to keep you listening on.
I would recommend this book to anybody, and just may do so today.

Solid good book, that I’ll be sharing with the ladies in my life. Good general ideas, thinking, planning, etc. nothing that should be new to anyone who paid attention in a military career or police but, solid info for anyone even if just a reminder pack.

Are the best Book on situational awareness!

If you are reading this review then you definitely need to get the book. I’ve read about half a dozen books on situational awareness and this is the best by far. Clear and practical tips on what to look for and how to train your mind to think to keep yourself and your family safe. You will not be disappointed.

An essential read.

As a martial arts instructor, I recommend this as an ESSENTIAL read. Truly, situational awareness and making safe choices can keep you from further from harm than any physical skill I could teach.

Very informative must read for staying safe at home and abroad

Very informative and understandable for normal everyday people wanting to be better prepared to improve their chances of staying safe while at home, work, traveling, taking the kids to soccer practice, shopping or simply walking to your car. Dan Schilling (author) is a world class three decade special forces Oporator that is willing to share his experiences, insight and knowledge in a sincere effort to better the lives of his readers by teaching them how to improve their personal safety by being situationally aware and using your intuition to avoid bad situations and harm. Parents would be well served to read this book and review the principles with their school aged children. I recommend this book to both male and females. I also liked the fact the author read the audible book himself. Well done thank you Dan.
