Not what I expected

This book is more of a history lesson than an actual guide. The stories were interesting, but there is no guidance on how you can apply it to your business. I just thought they were going to talk about how they can be used today or even give exercises to do.
When you read the book title and look at the title, you definitely think it's going to be an interesting read and that you're going to use new skills that you can apply now. That's not the case here. It's more like they tell you of entrepreneurs that used play to build their companies. More like a documentary I guess?
Also, the narrator sounds like a robot. There's just no playfulness or joy in their reading at all. I honestly speed up the pace of the book just so I could get through it sooner.
I wouldn't recommend this book if your looking for ways to expand your business. I would only recommend it if your the type that gets inspired by other entrepreneur stories. I would buy a physical copy though because you might fall asleep listening.

Fairly good

Although this book is not an eye opening experience , there are some chapters that really give you some things to think about it .....

Terrible choice of voice acting

I cant tell you how many times I dozed off or got distracted while trying to listen to this book. For PLAYFUL Entrepreneur, you guys sure got the most boring voice actor possible.

Playful?

The title does not indicate the kind of book this is. There is only one story in the book where I found playful connotations that had anything to do with company culture. The rest of the stories were a narrow-angled approach to philanthropy for certain social issues in certain social circles and how the entrepreneurs are "changing the world" to fit their standards. The subtitle, "How to adapt and thrive in uncertain times," had nothing to do with managing a business or creating a playful culture. In fact, there isn't much to do with adaptation and thriving in this book at all, It's more or less about how certain entrepreneurs use their wealth to promote the social changes they deem worthy. Not a business book.

Boring book for a playful title

the reader voice is so boring, found myself falling a sleep with in 5 mins of the book every time. teaching nothing but saying being playful at work gives creative I do not reccomend buying this book. a waste of 1 coin.
