But when an abandoned pit bull puppy leads Lily and Smooshie to the corpse of a local Lothario, she is once again drawn into the seedier side of small-town living. Even though she's warned off the case by the local sheriff, Lily is determined to find the killer. It doesn't help matters that more nasty notes are showing up around town, making Lily wonder if the two things are connected.

Lily and Smooshie need to crack the case of the dead Don Juan, while navigating what it means to live in an all-human town, before the secrets of the people she cares for are exposed.

Fun and intriguing

Fun, intriguing and with humor. The plot was suspenseful. I did get confused with so many characters at times. A quick read too.

Great series

I have enjoyed listening to the series. I like the characters personalities, their ethics, and the community that they built to support each other. Great stories and a very good narrator. I highly recommend this series.

Pit List Bk 3

Our main character, Lily is a cougar shifter and it's a well guarded secret until now -
In this book Lily stumbles on another body, a lothario her friend Reggie spent some time with. There are a lot of suspects, from all of the women he slept with and their significant others. Lily investigates the death to find it was not accidental, as originally thought.
All the while, Lily's relationship with Parker takes many twists and turns while she is trying to finish school.
Tall order -

I love this series, and getting to listen to these books again is like revisiting old friends!! What a great crew. Lol Lilly comes across dead bodies like I do dust bunnies! 😆 Another fantastic story by Renee George, and great narration by Dara Rosenberg! Thank you both for the super entertainment!!!

Pit List Murder

If you like fast paced action, a list of murder suspects longer than Lily Mason is tall with some paranormal activity in the mix, you’re going to like this series. Lily Mason is trying very hard to control her werecougar shape shifting abilities as she’s living among humans with her pit bull, Smooshie. Parker Knowles has discovered her secret & she is trying to give him time to decide what to do about their mutual attraction. Of course, there’s also the murder of one of her neighbors that’s taking up a lot of her time as @ least one of her friends could possibly be on the suspect list. There’s never a dull moment in this hard to put down cozy mystery.

Fun story

Kind of a fun youthful with okay characters. For being so short I would like to see much less recap of prior stories.
