I need more!!!

I really enjoyed this book so much more than I thought I would. It’s a delicious slow burn, a nice twist of what could be considered “standard tropes” for the romantasy genre. The duel narration performance was great. Love Anthony Palmini as the MMC!

Cliffhanger

My heart was pounding and my tears were flowing. Damion is the most perfect vampire male I’ve ever known and Anthony was as sexy as ever narrating this book. I’m getting the next book asap!

All I Can Say is WOW!!

Great story and incredible actors!! They really brought the story to life. Can’t wait to listen to the next book.

It’s ok

I found my mind kind of wondering while listening sometimes. But the narrators were good. I really love the make narrator.

narrators make this story better than it actually is

the story is alright. it’s a fresh take on vampires and all but there are some things that just annoy me. i think the world building was a bit lacking but i did like the blend of modern and fantasy worlds. i think that the story has a good mix of tropes and i did enjoy it overall.

First of all, how do I add a swoon and faint emoji … Luna Laurier’s “Of Shadow and Moonlight” is finishing the year STRONG! Not only is it such a beautiful love story, it is also produced so well! This particular duet/ narration style is perfect! Seamlessly executed, the male - female hand off is on point!!! The story itself is a masterpiece, there are modern tones - adventure, humor, redemption, and so much more, that it is sure to provoke a range of emotions! Speaking of range; Jacci Prior and Anthony Palmini have an impressive catalog of accents, and character tones ! This is a personal favorite of mine, and it was originally released on a different platform. I am so happy that it is now available on Audible! Best Christmas gift ever!! This is such a good audiobook/book, and hands down one of the best books of the year! If you love love, with a modern twist, strap in for a pleasant ride! This is the first book in the series , and can’t wait for the next book!!

WHY?? WHAT?? HOW?!! HOW IS NOBODY TALKING ABOUT THIS BOOK YET ?!?!

WHY?? WHAT?? HOW?!! HOW IS NOBODY TALKING ABOUT THIS BOOK YET ?!?! Total Vampire Diaries (the show; not the books) vibes!!! I went into COMPLETELY BLIND: Only knowing that 2 of my Favorite Narrators recorded the audiobook & hearing only a snippet of dialogue. immediately put it on my TBR & had an opportunity to snatch a SE of the book before knowing anything about it. 😅
This story is sooo gripping & it played constantly in my mind daily during my day-to-day! I'd say i lived this book because the audio had my 2 favorite Narrators, but I have listened to a book with an absolute favorite narrator & unfortunately the story just wasn't there. So I KNOW this wasn't just a high rating because of the narration!! I loved this world, story, the characters 🤌🏻💥 so much that I just finished the book & could total do a Re-read right now.. immediately finishing it! my only slight issue was I tried to follow along in my pre-bought Special Edition from Bookish Box (I think it was Bookish box) & it didn't match the text because the audio was the Revised Edition. Good Lordt, the Revised is soooooooo Good!!! ok.. now I need to go back to Cass in the next book!

Great narration

I think this could have been better but the FMC annoyed the shit out of me.. she was constantly whining “why me, I feel so guilty, it’s all my fault” gahhh she annoyed me. But LOVED MMC! Great narration by both though! Story was overall good, but female was just over the top

Disappointing

Too much internal negativity monologue, too much “I’m sorry”, “it’s all my fault” & too little action.

Not my cup of tea

I didn’t enjoy the fact that it was advertised as fantasy but was highly contemporary.
