Set in the sixth century, this work of literature is designed to hold mystery and suspense. To an island west of mainland Norway, unusual trouble stirs. Ancient secrets are becoming ever apparent, and strange murders more prevalent. Out in open battle, forgotten forces will fight unseen by mortal eyes. Before any living man can remember, a war was waged between clans that faded into myth. Well, those myths are resurfacing.
The colony known as Vesthelland bears much "he say" of such unusual of things, to which a pair of cannibalistic assassins come asking questions. Through means of blackmail, the killers take on an unobvious apprentice. Indeed, the contractors are unsuspecting of their pupil's hidden ways that soon become clear whilst on a bloody venture in England; however, the trainee-killer is also in the dark of certain details of the target. There is no going back for the apprentice, and soon enough the contract killers shall discover that their new pupil is too hard to control.
A Grimoire is a diary of spells, forbidden to be adorned by uninvited eyes.
