Love the story. I just wish the author could do better with voices. I could not differentiate them much.

The Mortician's Daughter: Two Feet Under: Mortician’s Daughter Series, Book 2 I could not stop listening to this. The cliffhanger ending meant more exciting events to come but my heart broke ❤️‍🩹💔 for Riley . I definitely recommend this series now need to listen to book 📕 3

Another good one

Better than the first one. I really enjoy C. C. Hunters books. This was a fun read/listen. I kept waiting for Riley to share her secret with her bestie or someone but she never did, maybe in the next one. I liked Brooks, he was trying to save his daughter Annie. The storyline was interesting and held my attention. Now for book 3 in the series.

Even better than the first book🥰

I just finished reading the second book in the series, and it was even better than the first one! I was so hooked that I read it in one sitting, and now I'm super excited to start the third book. A lot happened in this book, and some parts of the story were so emotional that I found myself tearing up. Unfortunately, it ended with another cliffhanger 🙃 I'm really looking forward to finding out what will happen between Riley and Hayden in the next book.

Holy Cliffhanger Batman!

No spoilers here, just a note to say be prepared. I’m all for a good cliffhanger to keep you interested in a series but they can go too far and this one is dangerously close to being too much. Hopefully the next release is on the way.

This book both fills and hurts my heart

Such a great series! I wish they were longer books so I could enjoy them even longer. Riley is a really unique and relatable character. She's flawed, passionate, analytical, and compassionate. The main characters are all incredible, detailed, and rife with trials, so the book made me laugh, but sometimes made my heart hurt as I went through Riley's experiences with her. I am dreading the next book because I know there's only 8 hrs left and it already feels like I'm losing a friend.

I see ghosts

Sweet storyline, easy to follow even if listening while at work with earbuds. The narrator has a very pleasant voice. A very enjoyable read.
