Best book in Aerwiar

I love every passage, note, comment, sentence, song, poem, line, character, and place in this book. I have read and listened to it SO many times, and I have recommended it to SO many people! This series just keeps getting better and better! My children and I could not stop. Well done, Andrew Peterson, in making your readers feel everything the characters felt. Looking forward to the 4th book.

so far I have enjoyed book 3 of the saga the most. unexpected twists and turns keep you wanting more.

My new favorite series

it's been a while since I've read a whole series of fantasy books, though I've read many in the past. This one is excellent, and there is a level of depth of realness, of real feelings, real struggles, and real personal dynamics that I've seldom, if ever, seen in other books. I would recommend it for all ages, but if younger ones are going to read them, better the parents do first. There are some parts that are pretty dark, but in a good way. It's hard to explain. I guess you just have to read them!

Once again Andrew Peterson delivers a captivating installment in this saga. My 10 year old daughter can’t put the book down and I can’t wait to be in the car so I can listen to the fantastic audio version. Hearing Peterson’s own voices for each character couldn’t be more valuable in making these characters come to life.

Did not disappoint. So often as a saga continues it can drag on. Not so with this series. it's a masterful tale with a masterful narrator!

my seven year old begs to listen to "just one more chapter". This story brought tears to our eyes and a message to remember. can't wait to read book 4.
