No doubt that this will be a Christmas Classic
The combination of Rowling's amazing imagination and writing skills has given us another literary jewel.
Having read reviews before purchase I worried about the sound. Some complained about not being able to hear with the special effects and one narrator's accent. I have no idea what those people are talking about. I listened to the first half of this while out walking. No headphones, just had the the phone in my pocket with sound up. This doesn't work well with all books, but I heard every word clearly. Listened to the rest at home and never had to rewind. Even on my cheap, old One Plus phone, this story's sound was excellent.
It's not for tiny kids who scare easily, but if they're up to The Wizard of Oz, they will be able to enjoy this and learn some valuable lessons as well.
