A balm for broken hearted single mothers, even those of us whose children are grown.

I would never use the word escape to define stories such as this. I find them to be a vehicle to quietly explore your own injuries and disappointments and kindle a bit of hope.

I love the story, the presentation, and the ending. Holly Black and her presenters never disappoint.

It is a great story and the narrator do a wonderful job, as usual. I loved this book as much as all her other books.

As Chalmys starts crafting the jewelry, I can't help but think of Clarke's Law and it's first collolary... Clarke's Law: Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic. .. Skye's Collolary: Any sufficiently advanced magic is indistinguishable from technology.

honestly I've listened to almost every book by Bethany adams and I've loved every single one of them, especially this one.
I was thinking to myself, how can such a story only be 8 hours. and that was probably because I never wanted the story to end.
