complete the series

how many times have you started a series but the next book takes forever or another series is also going on at the same time. I would like to finish this one.

A good promise turned mediocre.

It had the potential to be really good possibly even great, it just simply wasn't. I even went on to book 2 thinking the author just needed to get her bearings and the next one was going to pull me in and start delivering on that promise. It didn't. But I finally figured it out. The powers that be at Audible pulled all the titles/authors that smart people won't spend a credit on, threw them all together and called it Audible Plus.
Now that I know not to expect anything great from the Plus catalog I can give it 3 stars primarily because it didn't cost me a credit.

Okay story but annoying main character

There is too much time devoted to explaining pointless things and the thoughts of the main character. Some things are obvious and don’t need to be spelled out. Seriously annoying but storyline is good enough that I keep listening but I have to take breaks and listen to another book for a little while

Too much repetitive inner dialog

...and not enough action, at least not so far. I'm a little under halfway through and I just had to speed up the narration speed in hopes that it'll get me to something actually happening sooner.

Romance novel disguised as fantasy

Started out as a decent urban fantasy that quickly became a love story not worth finishing

Glad I finished this one

To be honest I did not know if this was the type of dragon book I get in to but glad I gave it a chance. It’s a great story told and read well. Can’t wait for the next

Meh... not my cup of tea

I really struggled to finish this one... the MC, Rory, constantly says to herself how great she is and can take on various situations... SPOILER ALERT: she is typically wrong. The internal monolog was repetitive, and just really not my type of story. Overall, characters are decent and the fictional world is good, just too much attention to internal monolog and not enough actually explaining what is going on.

True Love!

This book has EVERYTHING I Love in this genre! Now I'm going to start the 2nd book in this series.
