Acerca de esta escucha

If Jesus is a Jew, why is there a wedge between Christianity and Judaism?

If Jews and Christians both believe in the same God, why is there such division? Why is history littered with deathly accounts of this division, from the early Jewish persecution of Christians to the Crusades' slaughtering of Jews?

The Lion of Judah unpacks the roots of this division, showing how jealousy, theology, the law, and the integration of Gentile believers into what was once a predominantly Jewish early church contributed to the schism. It then goes on to reveal how Jesus magnificently fulfilled every word in the Bible. Listeners will discover why the Lion of Judah is the rightful Lord and King of all people—Jews, Christians, Muslims, Buddhists, Sikhs, atheists, and the rest of creation.

This book will help Christians understand the history of Christianity and Judaism, get into greater alignment with God's plan of redemption, be better equipped to share the gospel with Jewish people, and become more sensitive to and appreciative of their Hebraic heritage.

Wish I read this earlier

The clarity of the roots of Judaism and Christianity and how both evolved is truly profound. Thank you Rabbi Schneider.

Excellent

This is a reminder to so many who believe the OT should be ignored that Jesus was Jewish and fulfilled so many OT prophecies, that the OT cannot be removed from the NT as many would like to do. Great work.

Gain Understanding Here

This book reveals the CORE of Christian faith. The reasons why/the reasons why not. The Bible is a totality -- its narrative exists through the old testament and new testament -- without a clear understanding of all of scripture from a Messianic Jewish perspective -- a person does not comprehend the scope of life with God. If you don't understand the underpinnings of the faith -- you have left much information on the table and you will not be able to fully appreciate the revelation of God.

This book is personal experience, Jewish history, describes the genesis of the "split" between the Jewish movement - "The Way" (as the followers were called after Jesus' death and resurrection -- at this time all of the followers of Jesus were actually Jews) and the concept that Christianity is basically a gentile "religion".

Five stars for readability -- and for opening the eyes of gentile believers to the revelation of God that exists THROUGHOUT scripture.
