The foresight of thought on the book

Amazing food for thought this is my first Lencioni book it will not be my last.

Very “give your life to the company”

I like the general idea that a team player is obviously going to be better for your a team. I really dislike how judgmental this book is on anyone who doesn’t people fit their criteria. I also think it’s insane that they take their candidate shopping for a child’s present during the interview to test how humble they are. If I showed up for an interview and they asked me to get in the car and go shopping with them, I’d be running out the door and never work there. That’s unprofessional, seems rather unsafe, especially if you’re a woman, and I’d feel so absolutely disrespected. This book is clearly written by someone who was handed generational wealth. No one needs to do more than they’re asked at work, if you do your job well, why is that so unsatisfactory? no one should be working off hours for a job, and devoting all their time and thought and passion to a company. Very boomer mentality. The guy reading the book did a good job though.
