I happened across this series awhile ago, ive been checking back every week for this book, such a good book. cant wait for more

Just as grateful as the last

I been enjoying this series a lot and think they are fantastic. I normally don’t like books with politics and junk, but have to admit that it is done well here. Can’t what until the next book comes!!

A really great story

This series really has me waiting for the next set of books. The narrator is really doing justice to the story. Good job to all involved with this production. I hope that the next book will be soon.

Trust issues

Love these novels. Gone through all 4 in 3 weeks!! One thing I’m not understanding with the main character is the bipolar trust issues he seems to have. Going from empathy, generosity, and engaging with complete strangers; but then is mistrusting, stingy and unapproachable with people he has known the longest and had decent relationships with. Is there trauma in the past? Is it paranoia from being in a new place and people he is expecting to betray him?
Keep making quality novels like these and I will continue to be a loyal reader.

Didn't think the series could get any better, but the author has smashed that belief with this addition. I am %100 hooked on this series! Thank you author for bringing this masterpiece to the world!

This story continues to scratch the magic adventure itch in the best way, looking forward to where it goes next.

The story just keeps getting better!

The stage first couple of books of the series had a lot going for it, if you want you can read my reviews, but they were held back by some relatively minor issues. But with book 3 and now this book, this series has really taken a big step forward from being good to being great.

The author has shown a proven ability to weave together an intricate story with lots of moving parts and keep the pace both engaging and tense along the way without robbing us of payoffs or leaving us with cliffhangers.

I don’t think I have anything really negative to say about it at this point.

Exceeded Expectations! Pleasantly surprised!

I don’t know if I was just desperate for a non-craptastic book given a recent trend of duds I’ve been experiencing, or if our fourth attempt at riding shotgun with Big E was truly impressive, but I found myself immersed and enjoying the pace, the plot, and the storytelling. I felt like our MC finally put on his big boy pants and accrued enough experience and power to really start asserting some control over his fate. He’s by no means perfect and still has plenty of foibles, such as a mild case of unhealthy paranoia (trust issues) and selfish tendencies, but I’ll gladly take that over reading about another idiot that requires a binky and pacifier. I’m also liking how much of the story is taking place in a gray area where good and evil aren’t always clearly defined.

Narrator is clean and does a great job of not being overly dramatic in the delivery.

Solid book with a solid performance! Recommend!
