The authors do a nice job of balancing fact, research, and observations to help the readers understand what makes Israel unique and how it compares with other society is around the world.

They gave me the relevant information so current, that I feel informed enough to understand the real context of current events. Very insightful of what makes Israel Israel

The authors explore various aspects of Israeli society helping paint a detailed picture of what makes it a very unique and successful country. it is written in a very accessible style and doesn't go into boring details. Chapter 2 on the integration of individuals with autism into the army and then the workforce is one of the best parts of this book.

Inspiration For The World

There were so many aspects of Israeli life discussed. It was thoughtful and thought provoking. Such an inclusive country that pulls together to solve life’s challenges. I think the word is Family.

Outstanding book. Must read!

This book is a great follow up to Start Up National about the cultural aspect of Israeli society that unites its diverse population. A must read for those wanting to understand the issues surrounding this small country and why, despite the challenges, Israelis are in the top 5 in the world happiness index. Though written just before the October 7th tragedy, it explains the issues with Hamas, Hezbola & Iran and foreshadows the impending attack.
