Historia
Do you know the number one secret to getting more law clients? Marketing is always evolving. Forty years ago, lawyers couldn’t market. Then along came Bates v. Arizona state bar, and attorneys rushed to radio stations, local TV, and the phone book in search of that once-in-a-lifetime case. Then the internet happened, bringing us search engine optimization, pay per click ads, and social media. Every lawyer I talk to has tried one (or more) of these, but they feel like they’re just throwing money away. And most of the time they are.

Based on 30 years of experience from coaching practitioners, this guide integrates cutting-edge discoveries in human factors, gesture studies, linguistics, neuroscience, and more.

Knowing the technical bases for objections is not so difficult. Law school covers that. What is much harder is recognizing a good objection very quickly when your opponent puts a question to a witness or starts using a document. Cues and Signals gives you details on every objection that has been recognized in federal courts and sorts out the high-payoff objections from those of lower priority for both oral testimony and exhibits. Everything you need on objections is in one audiobook.

Although the tools are far more interesting and useful than the rules, they tend to be neglected in favor of other aspects of the curriculum. In The Legal Analyst, Ward Farnsworth brings together in one place all of the most powerful of those tools for thinking about law.

The power of glitzy advertising and elaborate marketing campaigns is on the wane; word- of-mouth referrals are what drive business today. People trust the recommendation of a friend, family member, colleague, or even stranger with similar tastes over anything thrust at them by a faceless company. Most business owners believe that whether customers refer them is entirely out of their hands. But science shows that people can't help recommending products and services to their friends....

In Silicon Valley slang, a "bozo explosion" is what causes a lean, mean, fighting machine of a company to slide into mediocrity. As Guy Kawasaki puts it, "If the two most popular words in your company are partner and strategic, and partner has become a verb, and strategic is used to describe decisions and activities that don't make sense"...then it's time for a reality check.

Only read if you are ready to do something
Truth be told - I usually don’t write reviews. But this book is solid. So much is changing in the legal industry and attorneys can either adapt with the times or perish. Plus it can be hard out there as a small firm trying to really do good for your community.
We all know how valuable it can be to have some one who knows the law be with your during your legal battles. It is just as valuable to have someone with you to help you run an effect business and marketing strategy. So attorneys can get back to what they do best & be incredible lawyers.
But if you are not ready to make a change & do good for your community then don’t start this book

Perfect for ANY Attorney Who Wants to STAND OUT!
Reading this book and putting its tools into practice will undoubtedly set you and your law firm at the top of your target client's mind in your market. The author puts forth thorough, evidence-backed strategies that may seem somewhat common sense, however when executed correctly and in conjunction with all his recommendations, it is easy to see why those who follow this guide have unbounded success. Each of the components in this book is delivered with real-life examples that support and foster exactly why they are independently important to a law firm's marketing message and crucial for attorneys and law firms who are looking to stand out above the rest as the obvious choice in their market. Regardless of the type of law practiced, these strategies will get you ahead of your competition.
