Fleeing some unsavory doings in her hometown of Charlotte, Jenna accepts her uncle's gracious invitation to stay with him in small-town Hokes Folly, North Carolina. In exchange, she'll help him out in his antiquarian bookstore. But soon after she arrives, Jenna finds her uncle's body crumpled at the base of the staircase between his apartment and the bookstore. Before the tragedy even sinks in, Jenna learns that she's inherited almost everything her uncle owned...which adds up to more than a million dollars.

Murders and home life
It is an enjoyable book to read. Yes a bit weird that Sofi keeps finding dead people but it works in this series. Natasha is an annoying one, the only downside in the books. The rest is great.

AWESOME

Wish it were longer. As has been the history of these books, they are solid entertainment with a very involved plot.
Love this series and this recent book does not disappoint for listening pleasure and atypical plots. Good tidbits of info dropped along the way

Another Fantastic Diva Book!!!!
If you haven't listened to the Diva series, you are really missing out! Hillary Huber's performance just brings these characters to life!!! This particular book was really good because it had so many twists and turns and I was glad to see the gang back together. Humphrey just cracks me up as does Natasha! Another wonderful book by Krista Davis! I have listened to them all multiple times! I just wish that there were more! Enjoy, you will not be disappointed!

Cozy at its best
Food, clothes, a good friend, an obnoxious friend, an ex on friendly terms, a restaurant owner, a detective, a mortician, a dog , a cat … what more can you ask of a cozy mystery. Oh & always a murder or two.

Love The Diva!
I love the diva series. I have all of them! I adore Sophie and her outlook on life, food, and weight lol. I love the decorating tips, of which i have used a few! I love the food ideas and party/get together ideas. They are “cozy” mysteries that i can really get into, no language, no sex, and no gore. I would recommend the Diva series to anyone who loves a nice, calm, clean, murder! Thank you Krista Davis!!! Please keep Sophie in business!
