It had potential.
There was a lot of areas that went into so much description that the book could be Cutt in half. If this is based off a true story, then why don’t we get what happened to the characters at the end. It was not complete and left many open questions as to what really happened???

OMG! After all that you never learn what happens
Extremely upset by the ending. We needed one more chapter to wrap things up - why would they end the book with no resolution?!

Lazy, unimaginative ending. Why bother with setting that up? In the end, a waste of a fairly decent story.

That’s how it ends?
I was genuinely confused when the book ended. It’s like it just stopped abruptly, without warning, and without and resolution or closure. The entire book felt very one note and like each chapter was the same thing over and over again. I did not find it enjoyable.
