Written for middle school intelligence.
The AI voice was terrible. Frequently mispronouncing words. No inflection or proper pace.
The endings were terrible with the killers mostly not even mentioned leading up to the “ah ha” figuring it out.

The narration was awful
Couldn't get past the distracting voice, story was interesting but I couldn't focus on it. if it were read by a human I would love to give it another try

The virtual voice destroys the book!
A lot of mispronounced words. Sometimes you have to listen again if the virtual speaker doesn’t understand the meaning or it doesn’t make sense to the AI!

cozy mystery not well developed stories
I guess it was fine for a cozy mystery but really nothing stood out. the AI narrator is not enjoyable. The flat affect makes it hard to get into the story

I tried….
I tried so hard to get into this book and enjoy it. I just couldn’t. I got to the point where all I heard was blah, blah, blah. It just didn’t hold my attention.
