Amazingly good read

I didn’t think I would like these books but when I got into the first chapter I just kept wanting to read more. I finished the whole box set and now I am wanting more. I will not give it away for you reading this but just know that you too will really enjoy these books if u just give it a try. Have fun

The story may be okay but the virtual voice ruined it.

The story may be better than this review suggest. The virtual voice ruined the book for me. There is no emotion to the voice. It never changes even when the person is supposed to be surprised. There is no difference when male or female characters talk so you really have to pay attention to what's being said to figure out what's going on.

great story

This is a great story. However, I think this is leaning more towards a romantic story rather than a mystery. I loved how we followed Kyla through the learning of her powers, but the mystery part needed work. I look forward to reading the next books in the series and considering this a light romance.

dont like AI narative

dont like AI narative i will listen to it because i want to hear the book but AI is hard to listen too especially if there is two points of views.written in the book ...at least change voice for that

Narration was flat

The automated narration did not do justice to the story. It wasn’t bad, but the timing was off.

A computer generated reading doesn't work. The computer isn't capable of changing voices between voices.

The emotional inflection in the reading was way off, and there was a tin like beeping in the background throughout the entire series

Captivating but irritating

I honestly couldn't get enough of the story. I powered through which is unlike me. usually I am a casual listener. However, as the books went on, with each story I found the main character got very whiny which I did not appreciate.
