They settled in Ennis, Montana, in a log cabin that also became their office and lab. Patients made themselves at home in the living room. One small bag held all their medical equipment. It was a proud moment when a patient first called Losee "Doc." His fee on that occasion was three dollars.

This story is very nice of Dr Lathimore and his family. it is somewhat of a religious book...to me I believe. ..where anyone else who is not religious you may not like the book ..the beliefs.. The doctor is a well loved.

What a wonderfully Uplifting Book
I have known Walt and Barb since High School. We were not close. They were part of the “popular” kids, me not so much. I have read his book The Best Medicine and was delighted at how talented Walt is. He and Barb are good people, even back in school. I can believe all the medical stories and the religious aspects that touched my heart and where I’m lacking. You will enjoy this book. Thank you Walt for writing this book. I’ll be reading all your books now!
