The mystery and characters.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

Not on the edge of my seat, but it kept my interest.

Would you be willing to try another one of John Bell’s performances?

Absolutely, as long as the Whole Audible version downloads.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

No. I am irked about the audio book, tho. I have some vision issues, so I enjoy being able to read and listen.

I've read all seven of the Advocate series. I liked them very much. I recommend the series to those who enjoy lawyers and courtroom procedures.

A thrilling mystery...

A thrilling game of puzzles and cache hunting all while multiple murders are happening. I learned a lot reading this book as I had never heard of Geocache before. It sounds like fun and I found the book filled with thrills and chills. I kept trying to guess who the murder was, each of my guesses was wrong. I absolutely loved the ending too! I had a ball while listening to this audio book, playing along with the geocache hunting. I couldn't help trying to help with the answers in the clues. I laugh at myself as I write this knowing I was telling the speaker, no you have the wrong answer! What a fun cozy mystery this book turned out to be!

The author, Teresa Burrell did a great job on this book. This is my first read by this author. I enjoyed the story-line and found the plot to be very creative. The narrator, John Bell did a really good job delivering this story to us. I enjoyed all his voices.

7 is a lucky number

Teresa Burrell has written another page turner. Sabre Brown is back and living life as normal. Settling into a relationship with her Private Investigator   And working as a advocate for children in San Diego. Saber is helping her family and her community. She has been GeoCaching for fun and finds a unique item left behind. A death certificate for a one named person on a future date. Is this a hoax or a clue to an upcoming murder.
Sabre can't leave it alone and as coincidences start piling up she can't stop chasing the clues. When children she is protecting in the legal system may be involved Sabre enlists the help of all her friends to solve the riddle.
John Bell Narrates his second book in this series and dies a great job with unique voices and cadence to make the listen enjoyable for the listener.
What will Theresa think up next for Sabre and friends. Book 8 will be amazing if not dangerous.

What a Great Series

I have read all in this series they just keep getting better and better. The fact that Teresa Burrell works in the court system to help children. Makes each story real. Great combination of mystery some romance and a strong sense of family. The last two books have been read by a male John Bell did an excellent job always able to tell who was speaking by change in his voice. This was an excellent story all the way to the end.

Light and fun legal thriller! Simply wonderful!

The Advocate's Geocache in Book 7 of the marvelous The Advocate series. Some earlier books in the series, while excellent, were difficult to listen to because the series deals with children who are not properly cared for by parents or are being sexually abused.

This is a very clever novel. Attorney and child advocate Sabre Brown found her brother in the prior novel and he is a part of her life. Her romance with investigator JB is finally on a somewhat even keel. The clues to a murder are revealed through a geocache series in a way that adds to the drama and suspense.

VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! One need not listen to other books in the series to appreciate this novel.

Fascinating Premise

What did you love best about The Advocate's Geocache?

I didn't know much about geocaching and found that element to be a fascinating theme for the novel.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I've enjoyed reading about author Burrell's leading lady, Sabre Brown, since book one. She carries this novel as well, first and foremost with precision and integrity. An advocate for child's rights, Sabre moves through the world to find answers few are wiling to reveal--even if the answers are painful to take in.

Which character – as performed by John Bell – was your favorite?

Good 'ol boy leading man, J.P., is performed with the tinge of humor ideal for this character.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

"You might NOT want to find it." OR "Follow the Next Clue at Your Peril."

Any additional comments?

I listened to this audiobook for hours at a time. Highly entertaining and fascinating from the first minutes to the last, the theme and surrounding story lines were riveting. I highly recommend this listen.

Great story that keeps you guessing all the way. Interesting characters and a good pace. Geocaching adds to the interest.

Each book in the series seems better than the last

The Advocate's Geocache: Legal Suspense Murder Mystery (The Advocate Series Book 7), my eighth enjoyable read from author Teresa Burrell. An 7-hour 50-minute/309-page legal thriller featuring Sabre Brown as a child advocate attorney. I'm glad I read the 25 page short Deadly Secrets (JP Short Story) as there are things in thatt short that makes certain things in the book clearer. John Bell's narration adds to an excellent book's enjoyment. “I received a free a free Audible copy and am voluntarily leaving a review." The gifting of this book did not affect my opinion of it. I own 11 of this author's works in this series and look forward to reading more, The Advocate's Homicides: Legal Suspense Murder Mystery (The Advocate Series Book 8) is next on my TBR list. I'm on a mission to read all the books I own in the series, they're that good! (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).
