Indeed, neither government is shying away from resorting to underhanded, questionable, or downright amoral means. The Gilded Hand has been stepping up their efforts to further Spymaster Edward Allen’s schemes. The Empire’s intelligence agency is also looking to field its most powerful enforcers in the coming battles. The Republic’s Foreign Intelligence Bureau is having a hard time keeping up, but they are not without their own dirty tricks. Rumors within the royal palace of the Horkensaft Kingdom to the east suggest that the dwarves and gnomes are on the verge of aiding the elven nation. Something that wouldn’t have been made possible without the Republic’s deep coffers, and the less-than-reputable individuals that fill them.

Boxxy T. Morningwood isn’t one of those shady contributors. If anything, it’s been steadily draining the government’s resources as it forces them to pay exorbitant fees to resolve issues that the monster itself creates. A trend it plans to keep following for as long as it can lie, cheat, and murder its way through life.

Which, barring something ridiculous like divine intervention, is poised to be a very long time indeed.

Neven Iliev once again gave us something tasty

If you read the first 4 Books or Audiobooks you know what to expect and yes this one is at least as good as the first four. The Story moves along in a nice pace and the Voice Cast is, once again, perfect. If you liked the the first Books you will love this one as well.

Great but

Very enjoyable listen but I'd really prefer if they would stop adding so much more to the narration. More music, more SFX and more narrators. Like the saying goes, less is more sometimes.

finally the first book Series this year that has not let me down in some way. it is Boxxy T Morningwood at its best. oh yeah I got to get props to soundbooth theater even though we all know they're audios always great

Love it! I hate the ever roundabout tropes that seem to riddle most popular fantasy books and series. This series is a fresh new view and I am extremely happy when a new book releases on audible. the narration is above top notch. The multiple voice actors add so much to the Immersion of the story. The LitRPG genre adds a lovely feel to the character development. I love the taboo themes that are visited in taste and look forward to more. All around, this book is Tasty
