Loved this!

Christina Lauren books are always thoughtful and well written, they never disappoint. I absolutely fell in love with this take on Disney’s “Tangled”. No, it was not overly fluffy. It took out some key story arcs and made them more true to life. I loved how they trapped Wren in a “tower” and painted Fitz into a rogue. Seriously creative!

I loved reading this book and absolutely loved listening to it, too! After I read it, I watched the movie, Tangled, again. So fun! Then, I wanted to re-read the book, but I thought I’d check out the audiobook instead. I’m so glad I did! The narration was perfect! I’m sure I will be re-reading and re-listening to it, again! 😊💜

Slow start

The story started out slow and the female lead was so naive, it was making me cringe. For a couple chapters I debated returning the book. But once they started on the road trip everything improved. Overall it is a good adaptation of Tangled.

Good story but I need a part 2

Character development of “Fitz” into a likable person. Heartwarming. I hope there’s A part two but doubt it. I just hated the last 30 seconds of the audiobook.

So cute!

This was a great modern & grown up adaptation of Disney’s Tangled. It was an interesting and engaging enemies to lovers, grumpy/sunshine romance. It was not spicy, but I really loved it. If you are familiar with the movie Tangled you will see all of the integrated nods to it. Christina Lauren did a great job nodding to the tale in a way that did not seem forced or distract from the story they were telling. It is definitely worth a listen if you want a light hearted budding romance.

I’m tangeled up in this book.

This book was amazing. I loved Ren and Fitz. Perfect tangled retelling. I loved all the ways they meshed the original in. Pascal!! Max!!!

Wonderful Story

I thoroughly enjoyed this story. Absolutely loved the main characters. My 1st Christina Lauren book. Looking forward to more. The narration was also very well done.

Loved looking through the world from the fresh eyes of Ren. It was really interesting.

Tangled Meets Prepper Cult

First off Tangled is my comfort Disney movie so I was so excited to read this retelling. And let me tell you this was such a refreshing take not only on Rapunzel retelling but on a love story in general! I have never read a story set within a doomsday prepper type atmosphere to start where the main character is so isolated but it lended perfectly to the set up for this book. I thoroughly enjoyed this whole story!
