Perfect Holiday Read That You Can Enjoy Anytime!!!

Don't judge a book by its cover...or rather don't judge a Jace by his initial moment! Hahaha! He's a bit of a grump, drunk and ornery. And well, he was supposed to be on his honeymoon but the bride jilted him! So there's some definite reasoning behind his hurt feelings. Unfortunately, poor Piper was the recipient of his rant! But fortunately for Jace, Piper didn't completely judge this Jace by his initial moment. ;-)

These two have such great chemistry. But I'm not surprised because that's one of the things that I love from this author's writing...she can write amazing characters full of sparks, chemistry and love stories full of heart!

Piper is such an endearing character. I loved how she's determined to do all she can to care for her sweet son. She's made some mistakes in the past and life didn't turn out how she had hoped it would. But she's moving forward the best she can. And then some wrenches are thrown into her path and she has some more choices to make.

I loved how these two kept being in each other's paths. Or maybe that Jace just kept making moments for them to be together. *Happy sigh* You're going to love it all!!!

I enjoyed listening to the audiobook and loved the narrator. I love audiobooks and hearing the story brought to life. They just make me so happy! Definitely one you'll enjoy if you're an audiobook fan!

Content: Clean. Some kisses but nothing further. A moment of a character being drunk. Talk of divorce and being a single parent.

A fun holiday romance

Piper and Jace's first meeting is about as far from a meet-cute as you can get and Jace makes a terrible first impression--drunk as a skunk and demanding a different room at the completely booked Blackstock Hotel and Resort. Lucky for him Piper is understanding and doesn't hold it against him--the man was left at the altar by his fiancée, of course he doesn't want to stay in the honeymoon suite.

Piper is the assistant manager at Blackstone Hotel and Resort looking to become the next manager. Being a single mom to an adorable little boy, she could use the boost in salary, and can't afford to have anything derail her much needed promotion--especially not handsome and determined Jace Petersen.

These two have immediate chemistry and I love that Jace wasn't afraid to show his feelings for Piper. I loved all their interactions--they gave me all kinds of swoony feelings. I loved the way Jace showed he cared for Piper and Finn. Oh, and Jace and Finn together is pure gold!! I found the part of the story about Miss Anna Cate sweet and heart-warming.

I originally read this six years ago when it was a novella and part of a series about Christmas Falls. I love that now it's a book all on it's own and has added content. This time I listened to the audiobook and thought the narrator, Stephanie Rose did a wonderful job with the voices and getting the emotions of the book across.

Mini Review: I love the way Piper and Jace relationship progresses throughout the book they do get to know one another it’s not a love at first sight thing. There meet cute was not so cute at least for Jace who was a bit of a grump in the beginning but with good reason.
Things I liked: *Jace and his persistence. He is a good guy and you fall in love with his character. He believes in Piper and encourages her to try for more than just a promotion. *Piper and her friendships. *This book also includes things like forgiveness and rekindling old friendships. I also loved Piper son Finn he was adorable.
Some Tropes Included: Single Mom, Age Gap, & He falls first. FYI : these are some of my favorite tropes. Stephanie Rose does a wonderful job with the narration.

Perfectly Swoonworthy for the Holidays!!

What a perfect way to start the holidays with a swoonworthy romance! This one is full of all the good things sizzling character chemistry, swoonworthy kisses, and laugh out loud moments! The story is fun and the characters are ones you will definitely want to see more sneak peeks on how they're doing in other books! I laughed, cried, screamed, and swooned over this book. The narrator does an incredible job of bringing Piper and Jace to life. This book definitely left me smiling. Please do yourself a favor and check this one and all Jennifer Peel books out! You won't be sorry!

Loved it!

This was such a delightful story! It’s sweet, funny, charming, and romantic, and a perfect read for Christmas. I thought the narrator did an excellent job.

"Voice" Catching

This story is so cute and the voice that narrate this story are the best. This book easily captured my attention and I wasn't ready for the story to end. Jennifer Peel made this story come to life and very enjoyable to read/listen to.

If you're looking for a story that is cute, swoony, and full of humor... THIS IS IT! I loved the story between these characters as well as the chemistry they shared and the narrator did amazing job and gave justice to this story. Five stars for sure. You won't regret reading this. :)

How can I express how much I loved this book?! It was seriously the perfect read for me! I fell in love with Piper, Jace and the adorable Finn from the very beginning! The bantering back and forth, the antics of Finn, the cameo appearances by some of my favorite characters, the legos and lightsabers... it was all AMAZING! Once I finished reading it, I was ready to pick it back up and read it all over again! It was THAT good!

This should come as no surprise that Ms. Peel has done it again! She sucked me in from the very first page and kept me up way past my bedtime finishing the book! Oh how I loved Honeymoon for One! It's the perfect read for any season!

As usual, Ms. Rose did a phenomenal job bringing this story to life. She has a way of sucking you in and making you feel ALL the feels! She's definitely a favorite of mine!
