I love this series so much I can’t wait to see what syl does next

The light-hearted funness of it

I like how the characters that it will go on this event with a slight hotness and the gods messing with him in the background and just making and the main character making friends with everybody and struggling through being a slam

Narration

I didn't care for the random npc voice over speech segments. Story was good and mc was likable. Side caracters weren't just caricatures!

Great continuation

Super fun continuation of our enjoyable little slime Syl. I love how romance is not the focus of this series! I appreciate a solid progression litrpg with multi-faceted characters sans the romance as a main plot point.

Another hit

so good that it felt short. Basically 3 mini arcs and was done. While in depth and fun, left wanting more.

I really hope the next comes out sooner as I really want to see where it goes.

Great Series so far!

I really loved these first two books. Not only is the MC clever and likeable, all the various side characters the MC meets are also likeable and their interactions are fantastic.

Unlike most LitROG series these days, the MC is NOT dragged through every stupid underdog suffer-to-become-strong trope, and that is such a relief. I swear to God, at this point I just immediately return anything that starts with the MC being bullied for no reason because that trope has been used to death.

This series is more slice-of-life feel with an actually interesting magic/progression system that is surprisingly robust and has actual depth. Very very appreciated aspects that I see far less often than I would like.

10/10, will continue this series.

Cool Main Character But No Real Plot

If you liked the first book then you will also like this one. It was fun to see Syl play a different persona as well as explore a floating island. I do still think that her shape-shifting abilities are still under utilized, which brings me to my main complaint about this series. There is no real plot and the story is extremely simplistic. Every one of Syl's thoughts is about skills, traits, and levels. Every one of Syl's conversations is about skills, traits, and levels. The only driving force of the whole story is for Syl to improve her skills, traits, and levels. It is such a waste of a cool character. I can't help but think that a competent writer could take these ideas and create something wonderful. As it stands, this series still has entertainment value but you have to either be an extreme RPG nerd or constantly have your finger on the fast-forward button to fully enjoy it.
