Setting up a business requires a lot of research, and rightly so. This is because of the complexity of business structures and how they work, in relation to the operations of the country or state regarding business. Most specifically, this book takes a deep dive into one of the most populous business structures in the United States that is small business owner-friendly and beneficial: the Single-Member Limited Liability Company (SMLLC) business structure.
An LLC is the least complex business structure. Unlike a corporation, an LLC structure is flexible. It also gives you the benefits of pass-through taxes, limited liability, and legal protection for your personal assets. In addition to this, you get the added benefits of looking more legitimate than other businesses, which are not LLCs or Corporations. This book highlights the specific benefits of an LLC, and how you can operate your business as an SMLLC.
Furthermore, this book acts as a guide to businesses run under Sole Proprietorship or Partnership, keen on transitioning to SMLLC.
