Acerca de esta escucha

A hidden identities standalone from small-town romance author Brooke Montgomery about a girl who wakes up married in Vegas to her ex-boyfriend’s twin brother....

From the moment he calls the crisis hotline, I'm drawn to his voice.

As I help him through his darkest moments, we slowly get to know each other. The more he needs me, the more I need him, too.

A family emergency forces me away from my volunteer job, and I fear I'll never talk to him again.

Until I'm introduced to my new boyfriend's twin brother.

For years, we ignore the undeniable tension between us. Even after my break up with his brother, neither of us says a word about our history. He's a player, and I'm too afraid of getting hurt again.

But then my restraint snaps, and I lose myself in a searing hot kiss.

When he doesn't hold back, I realize he wants this as desperately as I do.

Before things can go further, he stops us, and my insecurities rush in.

Dealing with the pain of losing my dad, I'm more confused about my feelings than before.

My lapse in judgment leads to getting pulled over, and when chaos erupts, he knocks out the deputy—rewarding himself with a backseat ride in the sheriff's SUV.

An article releases that tarnishes his reputation and threatens his family's business. But when I bail out another man for a crime he didn't commit, I get a target on my back, too.

My world flips upside down when we go to Vegas and wake up married. He begs me to give him a chance—thirty days to prove we should stay together.

But the honeymoon can't last forever in a Southern small town.

Sin with Me is book five in the Sugarland Creek series. Each book in this Southern, small town series is a standalone and ends in a happily ever after.

Book 5 in the Sugarland Creek series by Brooke Montgomery.

Just like all of her other books, Brooke puts so much passion in the books that she writes and this one is about Wilder and Delilah!

I have the privilege of getting the audio of this book and Teddy Hamilton and Avery Caris did a great job! If you listen to audio books, you know that the narrator is just as important as the character. They have to believe in the character and act as the character would to express everything through the words that they give us. This is what brings the story to life! These two narrators are two of my favorite and they both did incredible as Wilder and Delilah!

Tropes:
• Small town
• Cowboy
• Accidental Vegas wedding
• Ex’s brother
• Mental Health Rep
• Reformed playboy

Ending the series with these two characters, was amazing! We get to see their story and how they manage to get through everything. This book will pull at your heart strings because we get everything and all in between!

This is Delilah and Wilder’s story and I was quickly invested in the story that the author wove.

There were moments where I was moved to tears, I smiled but throughout it all I was cheering for these two to get the happily ever after that the both deserved.

Wilder has struggled with his mental health and it was at times heartbreaking. Sin With Me was such an emotional roller coaster of a read and one that left me with a book hangover.

The narration by Teddy Hamilton and Avery Caris was spot on in my opinion. Not only did they bring all the passion, angst and romance to life with their narration, but they did justice to the wonderful characters that Ms. Montgomery created. Their voices are easy to listen too and brought the story to life for me.

Avery Caris and Teddy Hamilton together in dual narration? Sign me up!

I have been anxiously waiting for Wilders story and the fact that it’s a hidden identity, brothers ex girlfriend story, had me absolutely hooked.

Brooke does an absolutely beautiful job of covering some very dark topics, some that we may be super uncomfortable with, but ones that really do deserve our attention. We’ve gotten small glimpses of Wilder in previous books, so I was so glad to get a more in depth view of what brought him to where he is now and what makes him tick.

Delly is a perfect fit for him. They really were able to lean on one another TOGETHER to move forward and find their HEA.

While I’m sad the series is coming to an end, this was a perfectly done story for the both of them.

Fantastic Story!!!

Sin With Me is book 5 in the Sugarland Creek series. It reads fine as a standalone but definitely better to be read after book 4 as it intertwines a lot as they are twin brothers. Seriously, Brooke,I don't know how you do it, but each book just keeps getting even more amazing. I am entirely obsessed with this series, the whole resort ranch, and the characters. I didn't think Wilder would make me fall for him, but my oh my he touched my heart so deeply. The mental health rep in this one from the point of view of a man, wow, it was beautifully approached and beautifully represented. There are some definite triggers so check those out prior.

Wilder is just a beautiful person with so much pain inside, he just wants to find his light. Delilah brings back his light and saves him from himself. He wants to be better not just for her, for himself and his family. The way their relationship started, to the way it evolved it had me in a chokehold. The character growth in this book is stellar. They were just such a beautiful match, their connection was strong, their chemistry was hot and their banter was so much fun. I just fell really hard for both of them and I think they've become one of my favorite couples in this series.

This series has been a smash hit from the start, truly all of these books are solid 5 stars. I am really sad that the Sugarland Creek ranch is over but I am glad to continue the adventure with the rest of their extended family. A wonderful series filled with love, laughter, suspense, passion, spice and amazing characters ! Don't miss out 😍

🎧 The narration by Teddy Hamilton & Avery Caris was perfection. IFYKYK I love my man Teddy. He just always brings it and I think he is the reason I fall in love with all these men 😂 Jokes aside, he played Wilder so well, showing off all his playboy side as well as his super soft side. His cocky moments as well as his vulnerable ones. I really enjoyed Avery's voice and how she voiced Delilah, she had a sweet voice and it truly fit her amazingly. I recommend all the audio’s for this series !

What an amazing ending to the Sugarland Creek series. WOWIE. I knew Wilder's book would be an emotional one but I was unprepared for how perfect Delilah is for him. The tension, banter, and angst was everything. Wilder and Delilah both go through so much and for them to get their HEA felt like a big hug. Sin With Me is going down as one of my favs in this series (I can't pick just one favorite, they are all phenomenal).

Loved this one so much!

I’ve read/listened to each of the books in this series and I knew in my heart that Wilder’s story, the last book in this series would be an emotional roller coaster. And I was right. This book was so beautifully written and deals with mental health and depression and what it can do to not only yourself, but those around you. Deli and Wilder have a past, which they ignore, until they can’t and the fact that she’s his twin’s Ex keeps them from exploring the obvious pull to each other. However, that all changes one night and neither of their lives will ever be the same.

I loved how their love develops for each other. There are moments that had me laughing out loud and then I had tears in my eyes when they both face feelings that surface at the most inopportune times. There’s also some family drama in this book which just knocks up the tension in this book to a level that at times had me on the edge of my seat. And once they go down a path that was supposed to be temporary, all bets are off and I needed to get out my fan because they’re both a little on the wild side!

Being able to see both Wilder and Deli find an inner peace with the support of each other brought tears to my eyes. If two people were ever meant to be together, it’s these two. What made this book that much more enjoyable for me was the amazing narration by Teddy Hamilton and Avery Caris. They embodied these two with so much grace and skill. I was entranced by listening to them. While I’m sad to be leaving Sugarland Creek, Ms. Montgomery gave us the perfect setup for her next series and I can’t wait!!

Sin With Me is the fifth and final book in the Sugarland Creek series by Brooke Montgomery. I have enjoyed all of the stories of the Hollis family, but I’ve been dying for Wilder and Delilah’s turn. These two have a bittersweet history. You don’t have to have read the entire series, but I would really suggest reading book 4 - Only With Me, as it’s Waylon and Harlow’s (Wilder’s twin brother and Delilah’s little sister) book - to have the best understanding of the journey Wilder and Delilah have been on to get to their HEA.
Wilder Hollis has come off as a bit of a good-time playboy, a little lazy, and a bit self centered (to me) in his appearances so far in his siblings’ books, but after reading Sin With Me, he just might be my favorite Hollis sibling. Delilah Fanning has found herself at a crossroads now that she’s entering her 30s and finally trying to take the time to decide what she wants for herself in her life. Seeing them grow up and together in such a sweet and sexy story is a real treat.
The REAL move though, it listening to it all on audio. Teddy Hamilton & Avery Caris really sold this story. It’s a bit of a slow burn to get us there, but it’s just like Wilder to edge us all half to death before blowing our minds! If you’re into southern small town, spicy, cowboy romance with a little intrigue sprinkled in for good measure, I highly recommend the Sugarland Creek series. It’s super bingeable, funny, sexy, and heartwarming.
Thank you to Brooke Montgomery for the ALC opportunity!

A BANG up finale to a fun series

5⭐️ 4🌶️
First I just wanna say that Brooke really did her thing with this book!! 5 stars doesn’t even begin to describe how truly amazing this book was. Teddy Hamilton and Avery Caris did a phenomenal job as always. The narration really transported me into the book. I just wanted to climb into this book and hug Wilder. My heart broke for him. I loved how He and Delilah had that instant connection from the very beginning. She was able to bring him some peace during his darkest of times. This book was such a roller coaster of emotions. I was sobbing and swooning one second then dying with laughter the next. Each book is better than the last. And this whole series is a must read and more importantly a must listen!! 10 out of 10 recommend!!

This is the final book in the Sugarland Creek series and was my most anticipated. I was intrigued with Wilder books 1-3 and my heart broke and I rooted for him in book 4. Finally getting his perspective and seeing how far he's come was just so lovely. He's just come so far and is it weird to say you're proud of a fictional character? I'm so proud of him.

Delilah and Wilder meet on the phone when he calls in to a hotline to help with his depression and desire to hurt himself. Delilah is the voice on the other end of the phone talking him through some of his darkest moments. They both fall for each other without ever meeting. They become such an important part of each other's lives until one day she is just gone. Wilder wonders if he'll ever talk to her again when he is introduced to his twin brother's new girlfriend...Delilah.

Flash forward and Delilah and Wilder are friends, she has broken up with his brother (who is now dating her sister lol) and has become his designated babysitter. Wilder has had a wild go of it but after some soul searching has decided to start cleaning himself up and doing the work to get better. One night Delilah kisses him and it changes everything for him. Once he knows he has a chance with her he will stop at nothing to make her see how perfect they could be together. They start to make a go of their relationship to end up drunk and married, which is honestly where the real fun begins.

This book was narrated by Teddy Hamilton and Avery Caris. Teddy was PHENOMENAL. He always is but with these last two books being heavier in subject matter it blew me away how emotional his performance was. He was able to portray such a range with Wilder from cheeky to serious to depressed to desperately in love and happy.

A perfect ending!

BROOOOOOKE!!! Every time I think I can’t love a book more than the one I read last, you prove me wrong. Honestly, I’ve been chomping at the bit waiting for Wilder and Delilah’s story after Only With Me, and man, they did not disappoint. I can’t spoil a single thing about this book because my lord, you need to read it, so let me list a few things I loved.
1. Teddy. Freaking. Hamilton. and Avery. Freaking. Caris. I loved these two as a pair, even in a dual audio. There’s something just so evocative about each of their performances. This book has some heavier themes, and I felt everything these two were feeling through their performances.
2. The way Wilder and Delilah met originally. How unique was this?!
3. Wilder’s absolute certainty that he wanted Delilah, and his little ways of keeping her just his (even through the nine years).
4. The freaking twists!!!!!!!!!!!
5. Delilah’s friendship with Mattie. This is the most relatable part. TMI who? Tell me everything, okuuuuuuuuur.
6. The spice is 💋👨‍🍳 .
7. The Vegas wedding. I just can’t 😂
8. The big ole surprise at the end 👀
9. I love the sibling relationships portrayed throughout this whole series, but especially here. Since this is the series finale, we know and love all of the characters, so it becomes even better to see them endlessly tease and love each other.
10. The epilogue 🙂‍↔️💜

Let me count the ways that I love this book
