Emotional and Perfect Audio Performance!

AUDIO UPDATE 4/18/25:
This book had me all in my feelings when I read it because the raw emotions between Wilder and Delly are so realistic that you can feel both of their pain and struggles and then when I listened to the audio, it was even more realistic. Avery Caris and Teddy Hamilton did an incredible job on a truly emotional and beautiful story and I honestly didn't think I could love this book more, but somehow they made me. The overwhelming love that these two develop is just magical and I loved how well the narrators performed not only the deeply emotional parts of the story, but also the fun, funny, scary, and truly beautiful parts as well.

Original Review 3/2025:
This has been one of my favorite series ever and I'm really sad to say goodbye to the crew at Sugarland Creek. Over and over throughout this series, these characters have wormed their way into my heart and I just love them all so much! Because we've seen snippets of Wilder's struggles throughout, I knew this book was going to be heavy and it absolutely was. The beginning of the book, while beautiful perfection to set up this story was also devastating and the pain that Wilder felt was so deep and so well written that I could feel it and my heart ached so bad for him. I could also feel the fear that gripped Delly every time she answered his call at the crisis hotline, but what a beautiful way for fate to take hold.

This book has a lot of triggers and I highly recommended heeding them. The mental health struggles and grief in Sin With Me were really heavy, but I also really liked that Brooke didn't shy away from these themes because they are real and they were written to come across that way too. These characters could have been real people that we know in our lives and their struggles and the power to overcome them deserves to be heard.

With that said, this story developed into a perfect romance. 9 years of knowing and loving each other but fighting it turns into an explosive love story once they finally realize it. I loved their accidental marriage and how they worked together to make it last. The depth of the relationship was my favorite part of Wilder and Delly's story. They leaned on each other for the support necessary to overcome their individual struggles and that is exactly what a partnership should be about and I loved it so much for them. Of course, their banter was also really fun and I loved their families and all of the characters, but most of all I loved their HEA and that epilogue was the perfect way to end the series, even if I did cry at the end.

First I just wanna say that Brooke really did her thing with this book!! 5 stars doesn’t even begin to describe how truly amazing this book was. Teddy Hamilton and Avery Caris did a phenomenal job as always. The narration really transported me into the book. I just wanted to climb into this book and hug Wilder. My heart broke for him. I loved how He and Delilah had that instant connection from the very beginning. She was able to bring him some peace during his darkest of times. This book was such a roller coaster of emotions. I was sobbing and swooning one second then dying with laughter the next. Each book is better than the last. And this whole series is a must read and more importantly a must listen!! 10 out of 10 recommend!!
