Love this series AND the performance!!

Everything that I want in a book well written, beautifully performed,… My only complaint!? Book 3 doesn’t come out for another few months!!

Perfection

The story was balanced, twisty, sexy, and thrilling! This will be on my re-read list for sure! Can’t wait for book 3 to be available on audible!!

To much to handle!

This book had me so anxious. I loved every bit of it, but I hate cliffhangers.

I love this so much, how can I not! Sabine is so strong and determined. Wolf always loyal even when he shouldn't be.
This book had so many twist and turns that I am in shock of everything that happened and so heartbroken at how the last chapter ended. like what the actual hell? How can this happen when they finally can have a HEA, ugh this is the worst thing possible. Which only makes me want to read/listen to the next book.

Very Entertaining!

This is a review for book 1 & 2: I wouldn’t consider myself ta harsh critic. I have enjoyed the ACOTAR series thoroughly, as well as fourth wing, and I really like this series, though I can’t tell if there’s a third and final book out yet or not. I certainly hope so. As a reader, I like closure. I liked the detail in the spicy scenes, it didn’t seem perverse or crass to me. I find it very s3x positive which challenges purity culture and love that. I thought I would describe their lovemaking as light BDSM or vanilla - adjacent if you will. I would have liked more build up of the romance because the enemies to lovers trope is better when it’s a painful slow burn. Getting the pace and character development right on enemies to lovers is tricky though. I almost thought we’d get more of a love triangle and I’m almost sad we didn’t. Still this was very captivating. I finished the first and second audiobooks in the span of a week or so, I’d say. I liked the imagery quite a bit and I really liked the exchange of first person narration between the two main characters. Also give props because I don’t find the FMC annoying and I appreciate the characters seem to be in the mid 20s which is refreshing. Trigger warning: in this series there is an attempted r@pe but it is not graphic, lots of violence, some gore or disturbing imagery, lots of descriptive s3x, lots of use of the f-word (though no more than how I might use that word haha - so it didn’t bug me). This book gave me a DnD vibe and oddly enough reminds me of mine and my husband’s DnD characters. Picture a barbarian and a Druid. I really don’t think you’ll be disappointed unless you fancy yourself a tough critic. I’m just happy to escape into any well written and captivating fantasy.

epic kinky romance, the fifty shades or princess bride

I loved it, can't wait for the rest. Both narrators are fabulous, the story is great, the only thing that I would change is the too many exaggerated monologues he has about her beauty and his devotion to her. We got it but it sounds more like "what a woman would want to hear" rather than reality. Apart from that, I really love the characters, the kinky parts and battles. I finished the audio in 3 days and now I need to know what will happen!

Wait what!?!?

This book was truly a fantastic sequel. I really enjoyed book 1 but this was a home run. The character development, the plot progression, and of course the romance. I really liked the forbidden/secret romance. Also WTF was that ending! I honestly and still stuck. What a plot twist!

I really love this book-great story and characters! So glad I found this series!

On the Edge of Destiny

A continuation of the Godkissed Bride Series, this second installment holds its ground. Great pacing, sultry spiciness, and satisfying revelations. The ending is a first for me, so I'm uncertain of how to feel about it, but I can say I look forward to reading the third book.

Really fun

I enjoyed this story a lot but felt like a lot of the main relationship dynamics felt regressive. The male is dominant and uses a lot of ownership language.
